I see people going down
All gods people going down
And I should not be alone
And I should be on my phone
Yes I should be on my phone
Yes I should be on my phone
I'll go where that apple goes
I touch with an apple touch
I see people, candy people
I'm sowing seeds
I'm sowing seeds
I feel as sharp as a carving knife
So I feel in love for the very last time
I'm sick of the beating by everyone
I'm sick of the beating by everyone
I want peace ...
I'm sowing seeds ...

You're all way off base here; it has nothing to do with rubbing one out. The fundamental theme of the entire album is the love affair with drugs and fitting in. Just about every song is dripping with metaphors about drugs. This song in particular is centered on a young person trying to fit in, but struggling with what it takes to do so, i.e. drugs and partying.

"I see people going down All gods people going down And I should not be alone And I should be on my phone Yes I should be on my phone Yes I should be on my phone"

People going down is referencing the falling into sin, which is later reinforced by the apple references (Adam and Eve giving in to temptation). "I Should not be alone" is the desire to be in the group, and the "on the phone" lines are pointing at the connection to those in the group.

"I'll go where that apple goes I touch with an apple touch"

These lines are simply saying that he is choosing to give into the temptation and become one of them.

"Candy People" is identifying who the people are. Drugs are often referred to as candy, and it has a double meaning in that it is a way of expressing the hedonism associated with the people.

So finally, the term "sowing seeds" is what I believe is leading people to believe the song is about a stroke. This is actually a reference to him starting into the drug lifestyle and falling completely into it. He is sowing the seeds, which will blossom into what he wants to be, which is to be like the people around him
