Lyrics for Heart And Soul as interpreted by kevin

Heart And Soul Lyrics
Two o'clock this morning
If she should come a calling
I couldn't dream of turning her away
And if it got hot and hectic
I know she'd be electric
I'd let her take her chances with me
You see, the gets what she wants

'Cause she's heart and soul
She's hot and cold
She's got it all, hot loving every night

Can't you see her standing there
See how she looks, see how she cares
I let her steal the night away from me
Nine o'clock this morning
She left without a warning
I let her take advantage of me
You see, she got what she wanted

'Cause she's heart and soul
She's hot and cold
She's got it all, hot loving every night

No comments on this song in the 4 years since it was posted? Come on! This is easily one of the greatest singles of the 80's. An perfect example of how to craft a deliciously catchy and memorable pop tune. Whatever anyone says about 80's music, the pop music was for the most part really good and HL&TN were one of the better bands in their time.

I didn't really get into rock'n'roll as a teen, I only started appreciating it when I got older. Huey Lewis helped ease me into the world of rock, and this song along with "Heart of Rock'n'Roll," were two I listened to over and over. This is a song you can dance to all night.

I love this song. Really amazing guitar riffs, and I love the clapping section about halfway through. It makes me wish I could get up on a table and start dancing. It's the perfect song for a night out on the town. I would definitely would play it for my crush.

A dude being used as a sexual play thing by a lady and he does not care.
However one cannot really say being used for sex is like the same as a solid
soulful relationship-but then again it is a guy singing...
