Yeah, haha Nappy Roots
Awwnaw!

[Chorus:]
Awnaw! Hell naw! Man
Y'all done up and done it
Awnaw! Hell naw! Boy
Y'all done up and done it
Awnaw! Hell naw! Boy
Y'all done up and done it
Ah, y'all done up and done it
Man y'all done up and done it

[Fish Scales]
My first song was like forty-eight bars with no hook
You hear me flippin through my pages out my favorite notebook
The microphone was in the closet (What?)
No headphones, we lost it
Niggas scared to get some water, roaches hangin over the faucets
No AC, Tez'll break a sweat just tryin to make beats
E-Dubz was being a hustler, (Heeeyy man!)
All play flirtin all his customers, and flat broke
Nappy smokin blacks out on the back porch
I'm thinkin I got everything a country boy could ask for

[Big V]
Now what we do to get here? (Say dat boy!!)
Lay it down and bring it to ya raw (Say dat boy!!)
Hey now we hurt some, suffered for more, takes what we work for
Hated for for the cussin, but the hatred it made us cuss more
Held on, but it was hard - stepped up, took charge
Ran through what we scared up, but what was we afraid for?
Look what we made of, heart that what made us
Being here is alright, but must believe we won't fall!

Them country boys on the rise!
With them big fat wheels on the side!
Peep them vertical grills on the ride!
And aw-awww-awww-awww!

[Repeat Hook over this part]
Them country boys
With them big fat wheels
Peep the vertical grills
And awww!

[Saan/Skinny DeVille]
My yegga, we hog wild, bet that from that roota to that toota-file
Hell naw, them country boys ain't headed south for six miles
Kentucky mud, them kinfolk, twankies with them hundred-spokes
Skullied on that front porch, plus you know they got 'dro
Seventy-nine coupe DeVille vertical Caddy grill
Interstate 65 headin down to Cashville
Glass filled, to the tippy-top, back-seat Benz
Spent my last cent on the rent, left with pocket lints
A damn shame, gotta grind anything and everything
Jimmy Crack Corn, cross the county line with Mary Jane
A long time, a gravel road, to cash and fame and sold my soul
To Hell and back, and back and forth, with same jeans and nappy 'fro

[R Prophit]
I might, hop off the Harley, spoke mine like Bob Marley
Not parties with charties, wallin like they swallowin Bacardi
Them butter-skin, Prophit gotta like them
Understand you 'bout to lose ya life fuckin with them!

Them country boys on the rise!
With them big fat wheels on the side!
Peep the vertical grills on the ride!
And aw-awww-awww-awww!

[Chorus Overlapping]
Them country boys
With them big fat wheels
Peep the vertical grills
And awww!

Them country boys
With them big fat wheels
Peep the vertical grills
And awww!

Them country boys
With them big fat wheels
Peep the vertical grills
And awww!

Them country boys on the ride!
With them big fat wheels on the side!
Peep the vertical grills on the ride!
And aw-awww-awww-awww!
Them country boys
With them big fat wheels
Peep the vertical grills
And awww!

General Comment:rap is full of thoughtful music, heartfelt lyrics, and emotion of true struggle. outkast, talib kweli, Lupe fiasco, the list goes on and on. even mainstream artists like jayz, lil Wayne, and kanye write with a great deal of heart. quit hating p.o.d. sucks lol not all of the rap 'genra' you dumb fool can't even spell genre.

General Comment:admittedly most rap does suck ass. You know the artists i;m talking about 50 Cent, Eminem, Lil Flip, Lil Wayne all those lil bastards. This song is one of the very few redeeming songs of rap especially the P.O.D. remix that is the best remix ever. RAMMSTEIN IS FUCKIN AWESOME!!!! ROCK ON (MOST) RAP SUCKS!!!

General Comment:listen, JxVirgo, you're being just as arrogant as anyone else. you're right that rap is not all bad, but then you go jump on people's "idiotic rock affiliation". ever heard of Prime Sth? the Eels? don't like rap? fine. don't like rock? fine. life is too short. david hume would spin in his grave. it's called preference ladies and gentlemen, calm the fuck down. besides, wasn't this forum supposed to be about the meanings of songs?

    General Comment:ugh...
just because YOU like something it doesn't mean that A) everybody else should like it too and B) everything you dont listen to automatically "sucks"
i myself listen to cannibal corpse and all that but that doesn't mean that i dont listen to rap

General Comment:Exactly, BTW rap sucks. It is talentless, tasteless music that requires no talent and even less of a brain. All you need is an 80 IQ, dark skin, and a wide nose and your on your way to rap stardom. Listen to some good music like Cannibal Corpse, Ramstein or In Flames.

General Comment:Ok, for the last time, you fucking idiots who say you don't like rap based on what gets played on the radio and mtv, you're idiots who are disregarding an entire genre based on the worst of the artists. Ever heard of KRS1? How about Arsonists? John Reuben? Meta4? Rap is not all negative, rap is not all bling bling, some people are making intelligent music and doing artistic things with the genre, but you'd rather act like a fucking idiot and say you hate rap, but you jump all over a poppy song as long as it's got some electric guitars so you don't feel like you've betrayed your idiotic rock affiliation.
