Well....I guess I should start off by saying what a pity it is that Snow Patrol's songs are being viewed by so few people. Snow Patrol is one of my favourite bands because of Gary Lightbody's beautiful voice, and because their at once catchy and soft gentle tunes are truly captivating. This song sings of pain and yearning in such a casual offhand tone, it's hard for me to think how they can make it seem so...appealing. =D

I agree with you, snow_patroller. I think this is one of the prettiest songs on the album. I'm not 100% sure what it means... I kinda have an idea, but I'm finding it hard to explain. Gary's voice in this song is gorgeous.

Really good songs...very soft. Lyrics dont mean much to me really, but its a brilliant work of art this song.

To me, this is about looking for love - going out, trying to get attention from someone and finding the right person who is ready to accept you purely for who you are.

Maybe the guests in this song are people trying to invade a relationship. They're trying to break two people up and cracks are beginning to show. I love how things make sense one year on.
