Impotence
Boomerang
I'll stab you (I'll stab you, stab you)
Clumps of hair in the sink
Who's hiding things from me?

You knew all along, god damn it
But you wouldn't tell me
Well, look at you now

It's not funny, my ass is on fire
Paraplegic, inhuman liar

Carve a smile on your face
Everything's great, suffocate

Fuck, what you looking at fuck?
What you looking at fuck?
Don't you fucking look at me
Don't you fucking look at me
Don't you fucking look at me
It's beyond my control, it's beyond my control
It's beyond, oh, I'm coming

It's not funny, my ass is on fire
Paraplegic, inhuman liar

Boo
Boo

Redundant, redundant, redundant, redundant
Redundant, redundant, redundant, redundant
Redundant, redundant, redundant, redundant
Redundant, redundant, redundant, redundant
Redundant, redundant, redundant, redundant
Redundant, redundant, redundant, redundant
Redundant, redundant, redundant, redundant
Boring, boring, boring, boring, boring, boring

Excuse me, I am lost, please help me
对不起,我迷路了,请帮忙

Will there be anything else, Mister Bungle?
No, that's fine Carl, thank you
So you see Mister Bungle, Dylan's fucking up your whole campaign
He's totally incompetent, Sleeper-X commercials
Will be laughed off of television if you approve his campaign

Well, that's very interesting
I never thought too much of Dylan, now that you mention it
And I'm starting my own agency Mister Bungle
I could do a hundred percent better job than that turkey
I'll bet you could, what you say is very interesting
In fact, you're very interesting

Oh, Mister Bungle, I didn't know you were interested
And you will give me your account for my new agency?
Later honey, we'll talk business later
Right now I want to make love to your beautiful, beautiful body, ah

This song just makes all other bands look flat and dull by comparison.

Listen, this song isn't about anything, obviously. The singer is just making fun of metal music! I mean, honestly, REDUNDANT REDUNDANT REDUNDANT!? Genius, but the lyrics are as satirical as they come.

really? no one was reminded by

"It's not funny, my ass is on fire Paraplegic, inhuman liar"

of the childhood rhyme, "Liar, liar, pants on fire"?

not sure what most of the songs about, but the narrator is definitely lying about something, and

"Carve a smile On your face Everything's great Suffocate"

sounds to me like hes lying about his state of mind, making it look like hes happy

i think this song is supposed to be purposely nonsensical and stupid.. the instruments sound reversed and/or jumbled up and it doesn't (musically) make sense although it sounds awesome

Mr Bungle's style combines music stereotype sounds(like circus musicy jazz ska other?) with crazy arrangements to make music completely original breaking out of the simple midwest paradigm of ABAB or AABB style song writing. I have a live version of this song and Mike Patton says he wrote this song because he lost his wallet. Who knows if thats what really happened but you can definitly feel that sick kind of emotion come through in this song particularly.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
