Lyrics for Hey Jude as interpreted by Ice

Hey Jude Lyrics
Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.

Hey Jude, don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin,
Then you begin to make it better

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain,
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder

Hey Jude, don't let me down
You have found her, now go and get her
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better

So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do
The movement you need is on your shoulder

Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her under your skin,
Then you'll begin to make it
Better better better better better better, (make it Jude) ooh

Na na na nananana, nananana, hey Jude... (Repeat X amount of times)

Yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Ju- Jude-y Jude-y Jude-y Jude-y Jude-y oow-wow

Oohoo my my my...

Jude Jude Jude Jude Joo...

Yeah yeah yeah

You know can make it so Jude, you're not gonna break it

Don't make it bad Jude

Take a sad song and make it better

Oh Jude, hey Jude, wooow

Ooo, Jude

Oo, oo, oo, oo

Oo, oo, oo-yeah

Ooo, ooo oo

Oo oo oo

Now Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude Jude, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Oh nanananananana cause I wanna

Nananananananananananananana ow-wow

Yeah eh eh eh heh heh heh

This is the most commercially successful Beatles song. It was #1 in at least 12 countries.

Paul saw how the breakup of Julians parents was affecting him. So he wrote a healing song for him. Jude is a mixture of julian and dude(much used in the 60's and still today) and it was Pauls nickname for him. There really is some idiots posting crap about things they don't know on here.

Duh!!!! Pauls nickname for Julian Lennon was Jude ffs. It was a mixture of Julian and dude(very much used term of affection for a friend). And like its been said before John and his wife were breaking up and it was affecting Julian quite badly. phatboytackle u don't know shit!!! Paul wrote the song, why would John write it and let Paul sing lead? Dickhead. Get your facts right.
And let her under your skin, is Paul telling Jude to look after his mum and don't blame her.

I think this song is telling Jude to give head, read the lyrics and think about it.

so what does the "movement you need is on your shoulder" line actually mean?

to shrug your shoulders, as if to shrug off a burden?

First of all, The Beatles rock! Most of my friends make fun of me for liking them, but what can I say, all their songs are so meaningful, I love them. I will never ever find a band that I love as much as them. This song is one of my favorites.

The Beatles were and are the ground-breakers of Rock and Roll as we know it. They established the basic STRUCTURE of rock music! Sure, the Articles of Confederation were impractical. And true, we don't focus on them whatsoever (except in US History, otherwise how could we refer to them?). You only proved our point. Society DOES focus on the Beatles, and revere them, because they were innovative and inspired. We would disregard them (like we did the Articles of Confederation) if they were anything other than that. Sure, many of the initial songs were light and free, but then again who says that a song about love and happiness is insignificant? And who could blame them for seeking monetary gain? Aren't they human? Do they not need to make a living? And in contrast, many of their songs, such as this one, are meaningful and inspirational. I truly pity people who disregard the Beatles.

Man you guys. Not all songs have to do with devil worship. I agree with phatboytackle76 totally and completely. I heard that this song was about Yoko Ono, actually. Either way, I like it. And I don't normally like songs about Satan, thankyouverymuch.

I've begun to relisten to this one, "Yesterday" and "Sympathy for the Devil" by the Rolling Stones because of a novel I've finished reading, called "Vivienne" by Richard Hoyt. The title character uses lyrics from "Hey Jude" as a message to the man she loves.

you all are retarted Lennon is calling his son to accept satan. Reffering to satan as "she, her..." the whole song. Paul was, beleive it or not, very satanistic. That song Halleluia toward the end he starts saying Hare Krishna who was a satan worshiper. Read the lyrics keeping in mind that Paul is calling his son to accept the fallen angel.

not all beatles songs were about drugs. i HATE when people hear a beatles lyric that they dont understand and assume its about drugs. give the beatles more credit, man, they had more to their songwriting than that.

to me, it sounds that the lyrics perfectly describe that of injecting heroin "the minute you let her under your skin, then you begin to make it better.

Read the latest issue of Cosmo. Then read Jack Keruoacs "On the Road" Compare and contrast. If you still don't know what this song means, you are probably dead.

Interesting reading all the stuff above. I've never heard of this song being about julian lennon before now. I heard that it was written about John's aunt Jude, who looked after him while he starteed the beatles. The song is a thank you for giving him somewhere to live and providing for him as he struggled as a musician

from paul to julian about john leaving cynthia? I don't think that's right. then what's meant by the lyric "You were made to go out and get her" among others? sounds to me like it was paul writing for john encouraging him to court yoko (I bet he'd regret it now if he hadn't made so much money from the song)...and doesn't jude translate to john is some language?
