    General Comment:Yeah, this song has nothing to do with any SoCal punk scene. It's about the scene Dinosaur Jr. was a a part of back in the late 80's when this song was written....which was an indie / post-punk scene.

    General Comment:Are you kidding? Its a cover.. Written by J. Mascis, and performed by Dino Jr. Mascis, who was living in Massachusetts at the time was pretty far from the SoCal Punk scene, and not just physically... but you could be right, since it was written in 1987/88, it could totally be about the califorina punk scene in 1993/94

    General Comment:To Drink and Fight....actually Cheshire Cat came after Buddha, and is the one with the "revamped songs"

    While I agree with you in that I strongly prefer their older stuff...im not the type of person who runs around using the 12yr old terms of "poser" and "pop fake"

    plus, real fans stick to the end...the good and bad ;)
