    General Comment:This song was written after the fued that Leftover Crack had with Hellcat Records (Tim Armstrong) over censorship issues. Leftover Crack wanted their 2001 debut album with Hellcat Records to be titled, "Shoot The Kids At School", with some controversial cover art. I think they wanted a gun pointed at a playground, or something in that nature. This was right after the Columbine HS Massacre, and Hellcat refused to allow it. So LoC titled their album Mediocre Generica in protest, as a veiled reference to what they viewed as the mediocrity of the bands on Hellcat's label. This is why Leftover Crack LEFT Hellcat Records. Leftover Crack repeteadly accused Hellcat Records of promoting sexism, and homophobia: Homophobic lyrics from U.S Bombs & Buju Banton, and the sexist lyrics & cover art from Lars Frederiksen & The Bastards. In this song, they are basically accusing the ska-punk scene & Tim Armstrong of promoting sexism & homophobia. The references to the Operation Ivy songs are pointing out that Tim Armstrong was supposedly for Unity and Anti-homophobic during OpIvy years, but now he is promoting homophobia... What the hell?

    My Opinion:There sure are lots of references to Op Ivy songs, but how come has no one pointed out that the verse parts of Op Ivy's Unity bear quite a clear resemblance to the verses of this song.

    General Comment:i'm sorry... its contridicting to hate homophobes with the idea of unity in mind. They are people too. And yes, their views are completly fucked... but they are people. I love LoC... but I find most punk to be contadicting... Anyways, can't wait to see LoC tomorrow
