    General Comment:I still get chills everytime I listen to this song. Not very complex, banal and overused, but it's so beautiful. Never loses its charm.

    General Comment:Why is it the best song on the album you ask? It's one of THE best love songs of all time. One thing the Beatles were the best ever at doing was making something so simple and making it a classic at the same time. WHAT a great song this is. And yes megalomeg, it's perfect for a wedding dance. If only everyone experienced this in their lifetime. I've never had a girlfriend but that's irrelevant when it comes to feeling the love pouring out of this track. Long live Sir Paul and the Beatles! <3

    General Comment:I love this song and all, but I've always kind of seen it as inadequate in comparison to the rest of the Beatle's songs, and definitly to the rest on the album. I often even skip it because I just can't listen to it, and yet it's Paul's favourite and John seemed to think it was one of the best Beatle's songs, and so many find it the best on the album?
    I appreciate that it is an amazing song, but can someone explain to me why it's so special? To each their own, I suppose.

    General Comment:it has been said that paul was inspired by God Only Knows off the beach boys Pet Sounds album. Paul, apparently, loved the way Brian Wilson wrote about the idea of being unable to live without someone and wrote this as his response

    General Comment:this song reminds me of my mum , she adores the beatles and i've heard pretty much all of their songs but this one has to be one of my faves. I remember so clearly of when i must have been about three and this playing on a record player and my mum singing to me softly into my ear and dancing with me on her waist pretending that we were all grown up . Love it xo
