Please love, just come home again
Just let this one pass, there will be another
And this after before the pain
Every deliberate hangs by my left hand
Those eyelids and this warm wated floods my nostrils
Neck deep, I cry high
Together we sleep, slouched discolored porcelain
Dreaming of those elucid moments when smiles hang high
Limbs outstretched, a bad moon rising
Faucet turning
Desolation churning
Drowning in what we've become
Neck deep, I cry high
I have spilled and you cannot fathom the notion that it was the end of something
This is the end

General Comment:It is about both being straight-edge and doing drugs, it doesn't mean Jacob is a druggie, he's just detailing the perils of something like a heroin addiction.

General Comment:I think it's about suicide, dying in a bathroom, in a bathtub; "this warm wated floods my nostrils" and "Faucet turning " hint at this. "I have spilled " could mean that he slit his wrists, and spilled blood, hence the title "color me blood red". A terrifying image, lying in red water. And the final line is rather see through: "This is the end".

General Comment:I'm not so sure it's about shooting up...I think I might have sworn I read somewhere that Jake was straight edge. It sure doesn't sound like it's glorifying drug addiction in anyway. Either way, this is my favorite Converge song.
