Lyrics for All My Love as interpreted by kevin

All My Love Lyrics
Should I fall out of love, my fire in the light
To chase a feather in the wind
Within the glow that weaves a cloak of delight
There moves a thread that has no end.

For many hours and days that pass ever soon
the tides have caused the flame to dim
At last the arm is straight, the hand to the loom
Is this to end or just begin?
* Chorus: All of my love, all of my love, All of my love to you. (repeat)

The cup is raised, the toast is made yet again
One voice is clear above the din
Proud Aryan one word, my will to sustain
For me, the cloth once more to spin

Chorus

Yours is the cloth, mine is the hand that sews time
his is the force that lies within
Ours is the fire, all the warmth we can find
He is a feather in the wind

Chorus

To brn2sailaway: You mean "son", not "song". A couple more points:Capitalize the start of sentences and use punctuation. Your info is correct; your grammar, though, is shit. Your grade: C-. Please try again and remember, smoke the joint AFTER you post and your comments will be much more coherent.

Does making a typo and not writing by the rules means he smokes joints? Sheesh, Bite Me... Relax. People can write here with capitalization or without capitalization, with punctuation or without punctuation.

And you have an error in your own comment.

To nant: Where's the error in my original comment? I see you're in Israel. Who taught you English? Go fuck a camel or choke on a bagel or something.

AN APOLOGY- Whoa, boy. I would like to apologize directly to nant for my previous comment from 05-09-2002 @ 05:36PM. I've been in a bad mood today ever since I stubbed my toe this morning and I took it out on you, buddy. I don't have anything against you. I still think a lot of people post pointless comments that clog up this site. Thank you for listening. No bad feelings?

Ok ya bite me people post pointless comments. But so far on this song only one person has actually posted about the song and you decided to critisice his grammer? and then say people shouldent post pointless comments? anyhow this is a great song a true zeppelin classic, simply a testimony to their myriad of differint sounds and styles.

I personally think that this song is, in part, an answer, or perhaps the conclusion, to 'Kashmir', and a way for the band to begin to say goodbye. I think that they knew at this point that things were winding down and their time was coming to an end. "All our love to the fans ... but is this to end, or just begin? Maybe we'll leave a legacy that will last longer than we think ... "

The reason I link it to 'Kashmir' is the fantastic (as in, pertaining to fantasy) lyrics, and the reference to a banquet.

In 1977 during a US tour, Robert Plant's son in England died...this song is a tribute to him...

They were not done yet. Jimmy Page was not a fan of the soft stuff like this song. However he and the fan were actually proud of Fool In Rain. But he and John Bohnam were both ready to move on. They were already planning a harder, riff-heavy album much like their first 2 albums. But alas, What Is and What Will Never Be. :(

that was going to come after this one, but of course, the tragic loss of John Bonham put an end to that.

This is such a sad song. Robert Plant's 5 year old son, Karac, died because of a stomach virus, and he wrote this song because of that.

They this song is dedicated to Robert Plant's son Karac. So maybe that explains when he says "Proud Aryan one word my will to consume" Is he referring to Karac's zodiac sign? I cannot confirm if Karac was an aries and searched all over for his birthdate. Can anyone confirm Karac's birthdate?

Perhaps he used the original meaning of of the word aryan; from "arya" which in Sanskrit means noble.

Or another possibility; I just remembered that Robert Plants wife, Maureen, was an immigrant from India. Karac would have had an "Aryan" heritage through her.

he explains it all in the last verses, from the top now though,1st verse =the fire is their love im guessing maureen,2nd verse =wraped around this love is a cloak of delight 3rd=a love that has no end 4th=the days fly bye with her and the love they share 5thtides problems have caused the flame of love to dim 6th the arm is straight =the worst has come or everything is on the table ,hand to the loom =time to fix things ,make a decision,is it time to end the love or start over begin again, crying out all of my love tryin to deal with his problem ,cup is raised toast is made yet again =there have been problems before time to decide ,one voice is clear =one decision seems easier but he must give up his love this one calls for him night and day to release his love and start anew, proud aryan maureen, his will is all he has left ,the last 4 lines explain the song is to maureen she is the cloth that is torn ,hurt from the loss of there son, mine is the hand that sews time?=he feels he is the only one to heal this hurt and that he is a constant reminder of there son and there loss ,there son is the force that lies within ,together they find comfort in this loss all the warnth we can find , he is the feather he must not chase or he loses all of my love
