my all-time favorite Zep song, i always find myself singing along at the top of my lungs when i hear this song playing. the music, the words, its such a beautiful creation. it always manages to put a smile on my face, i love it...

My most favorite song by Led Zeppelin: This song could put anybody in a good mood. John P.J. kicks arce on the piano, Jimmy P's solo with the octavator is insane, J Bonham also kicks major arce on the drum beat; its one of the most complicated beats ever written in rock history and the solo is pure lunacy, Robert P also sang very well. If I were to find out that I was going to die tommorow I could put this song on and I'd be the happiest person alive, for my last day atleast. Led Zeppelin is the greatest band ever. I highly suggest, if you were to suggest a song of LZ's for somebody to hear, you suggest this one.

Why wasn't I 18 in 1973, too?? OMG! I would have lived it up!!! You know the guy Vic in the movie "Almost Famous" that travels with LZ ,but not WITH LZ? And he totally flips out when he just barely crosses paths with one of the band members? lol Yeah that woulda been me...Look out Jimmy Page, here I come!! ;-)

Absolutely amazing guitar solo. A favorite of mine, such a happy song with a kind of a sadder meaning. Like was said before, the rythym and or beat of this song is really unique.

Next to Kashmir this is my favorite zep song, its a shame it got ranked as zep's 50th best song in Q magizine, it really deserves a much better ranking.

yeah this is definitely what i would call a fun zeppelin song...theres something i love about all the descriptions, i think its just that it makes me feel what hes singing about...its great

They rated this 50th best Zeppelin song? Man that's sad, I know they have alot of great songs but this one is awesome. Plants vocals are flawless, the music is great, and really a work of art. How can anyone not like this song, such a great song to sing along to.

Bonham was the best drummer ever, and theres no way this song was ranked 50, maybe the solo at the end brought it down, but its still crazy. nuts hack

If anything the solo at the end should bring it's rating up, that's my favorite part. Right after that fast Samba beat, that beautiful octave solo. Genius man, probably the most under-rated rock song in history. I think that highly of it.

the guitar solo is a flaw because it drags a lot from the beat. in the new DVD you can see that the Knebworth performance guitarwise wasn't that great. page had trouble keeping up.

but otherwise, a groovy song, i like the jam session sorta thing going on in the middle.

omg
im going out on diner time, leaving my laptop on with winamp opened and songs playing
then when im coming back to work, its raining as hell outside, and im so fucking wet, damn rain
im back at work, i put my headphones on, and the songs is playing

I have to post for this song considerng it's the inspiration for my ID :) This song is awesome! I always find myself picking out the lyrics as I listen to anything. It's funny how many times I already love a Zeppelin song and then love it even more once I figure out the lyrics. I've been in his shoes before. Waiting for a girl all excited to see her. She never shows and you always wonder if you really were a fool waitin on the wrong block. I can relate. Gorgeous solos, beautiful song.

i work at an amusment park in ohio, and after long days where it has been boring and rainy (and usually i have been humming this song) i'll just come home, lie down, and listen to this song about a bizzilion times, until i'm dry :)

It's about a guy waiting for his girlfriend or whatever in from of her house or apartment building and he gets nervous and angry when he thinks she isn't coming and thinks she doesn't love him anymore. THen he realises that he's waiting for her in front of the wrong building on the wrong block.

i do not understand why everyone says that this is their favorite led zeppelin song. it is a good song, but nothing in comparison to any of the music on the first four albums. do your homework man.

I've done my homework, by owning 6 Zeppelin Albums, and having listened to them my entire life. It's a good song, I never said it was my favorite Zeppelin song, but it is in the top 10, maybe top 5...
