    General Comment:Maybe I'm just a pervert, but knowing Zeppelin, "share your load" is definitely not an innocent, innuendo-free statement. I think he's just dressed it up a bit to basically say I love giving it to you from "every bend in the road," and we're great together, so let's get it on. Sex takes you to a higher place, in the light, above all the darkness and awfulness on this earth - at least when it's a transcendental experience (where you go through into someone's soul). Basically, through the enlightenment gained from sex, you find the road or the path to go in this particular relationship (namely that Plant feels this girl needs to get with him because everyone needs an experience where they're taken into the light). Just my screwball interpretation. I'm not the world's biggest Zep fan or anything (meaning I don't know every little intricate historical detail that this could've been a reference to), so please don't give me shit. The other interpretation I can see in this song is somehow a mockery of religion (everyone saying that you need to be "in the light" but you have choices to make and sometimes all you need is someone else - at the end when I hear the "lie lie lie in the light" although it is written above as "light, light, light"; anyway, I think it could be talking to the girl or saying that "the light"/religion can be a lie).

    General Comment:I've realised something... This is one of the GREATEST unknown Led Zeppelin songs. (I define unknown as not known by general music listeners). It has been named by Plant as on of their greatest moments along with other greats such as "Kashmir" and "All My Love". Just that way that this song is made is astounding. It seems like it goes in several parts - first there is a seemingly trance like orchestra playing, then you hear the "duh da, duh da, duh da, duh do" (However funny that last part may sound). This song is one of my personal favorites and is one of the best that they have on Physical Graffiti.
