This is my song for my first true love gone. 23 years later it still brings me home. Once we met and saw the sunrise, we lived every night together, except mother's weekend at WSU, till we parted in the summertime. Poetry. I always thought I would find this love again. is it just me or is it possible to tie every led zeppelin song to lord of the rings??? get over it, tolieners, just because zep liked the books doesnt mean they wrote all their songs about them. anyway, this is one of my favorite songs by zeppelin and it is def. underappreciated. i love the emotion in this song, very deep

I'm not evven go into the lyrics on this song b/c when it comes to Babe I'm gonna leave you I really don't listen to them I can't really. This is simply the best acoustic song ever written it is just beautifully orchestrated entirley perfect in every way. And once again Zeppelin beautifully drags you along in these deep relaxing erses just to signal a beautiful and heavy chourus with one of plants famous wails. My favorite part is when Plant screams out "I CAN HEAR IT CALLIN' ME BACK HOME!" and then kicks into the second chorus. it once again is another great vocal song, it has some fantastic guitar parts in random spots but it is forever going to be my favorite acoustic song of all time.

my favorite zeppelin song as well. between the beautiful acoustic guitar, the kick-ass chorus, and plant's awesome vocals...it's definitely my favorite. it has a lot of power AND beauty at the same time, which I like. one of their greatest.
