Lyrics for Bring It On Home as interpreted by kevin

Bring It On Home Lyrics
Baby, baby... I'm gonna bring it on home to you.
I've got my ticket, I've got that load. Got up, gone higher, all aboard.
Take my seat, right way back. ooh yeah. Watch this train roll down the track.
I'm gonna bring it on home, Bring it on home to you.
Watch out, watch out...

Try to tell you baby, what you tryin' to do?
Tryin' to love me baby, love some other man too.
Bring it on home...

Went a little walk downtown, messed and got back late.
Found a note there waiting, it said, "Daddy, I just can't wait."
Bring it on home... Bring it back home to me baby...

Tell you, pretty baby, you love to mess me `round.
I'm gonna give you lovin', baby, gonna move you out o' town.
Bring it on home...

Sweetest little baby, daddy ever saw.
I'm gonna give you lovin' baby, I'm gonna give you more.
Bring it on home...

Bring it on home, Bring it on home to you...

you cannot be a hardcore led zeppelin fan and not love this song. its led zeppelin at its best. its got the slow start, and then just totally explodes into an awsome guitar solo. it blew me away the first time i heard it. anyways, i had to post this, seeing as how i couldnt believe no one had posted something for this song.

When your as sad a person as I am, you tend to sit around and listen to nothing but your music. And if you do that enough you start noticing bits of the song that people who are listening to it for the first time dont. John Bonham's drums are just one of these elements of this song. If you listen closely to the background you will hear him meticulously change up tiny parts of his tempo. It is his drumming that glue all of the glorious parts from all of the magnificent members together.

Robert Plant's ability to perform blues songs verges on the genius. In the slow into to this track he actually mimics the natural tremello that was a feature of Sonny Boy Williamsons voice. Have a go yourself - play a copy of Bring It On Home by Sonny Boy Williamson and then play Zeppelin's version. You have, in a nutshell their uniqueness: the ability to persent largely traditional, blues based music in a way that was relevant for their time. Plant was an absolutely magificent vocalist.

I like, on the DVD, Robert Plant says "this is song that comes from the deep south of america, and ended up in earl's court." i enjoyed that, i dunno.

hey cartman, he was talking about "In My Time of Dying" but good song nonetheless. You gotta love it.

This is one of those songs, where youre just waiting for Page to start something on his guitar, and then there is that brief pause.... and then boom. And it follows along that "standard blues riff" that many guitarists have to know.

the 3encircledpoints, I've been doing that too, espically noticing Bonzo's druming, but i'm also noticing that Jimmy isn't that great on guitar. I reallylike this song. initally i skipped over it but then I gave it a go and I love it. But has anyone heard th original? The begining, It is practically the same, even the harmonica, so it's hardly any wonder they got busted for it. Watch Mulholland Dr. its a good movie and it also has the originally of that song for a few seconds, either way you won't be disappointed!

this is by far my favorite led zeppelin blues song. it has a good harmonica part, good guitar riff, and even the lyrics are bluesy. led zeppelin is an awesome band. i'm going to disagree with you, leonie. though, i maybe you just meant that he isn't that technically skilled. if you just mean that then i guess i'll agree, but otherwise i think he has a great sense of timing and feeling.

This is just fantastic. My favorite Zeppelin song and damn near my favorite song period. The live version from the DVD is a little dissappointing but still great.

All I can say is: brilliant. It's hard to say what it's about, because I usually put Led songs into what they mean to me. Great song, makes me mad I didn't comment on it a while back, one of my top lists.

Just heard this while visiting a friend in california (i'm danish, not the pastry, but nationality...). I heard the live version from "How the west was won" and my god it is incredible, superb sound and an extremely powerful performance! Much more hardcore than the album version and all the better for it... An awesome track indeed...

I love the guitar riff after the harmonica is done. Some people say that Stairway to Heaven is best guitar solo ever.. but for me, the guitar in this song totally blew my mind!

I love how it has the harmonica at the beginning. If there's anything I'm a sucker for [besides a good guitar solo] it's a damn nice blues harmonica. And then of course the guitar that comes in just blows your head off.

I was listening to this in my art class and my friend who's not a big Zeppelin fan even liked it. I was happy. :]
