Well, they took some honey from a tree
Dressed it up and they called it me
Everybody's trying to be my baby
Everybody's trying to be my baby
Everybody's trying to be my baby, now
Well, half past nine, half past four
Fifty women knocking on my door
Everybody's trying to be my baby
Everybody's trying to be my baby
Everybody's trying to be my baby, now
Went out last night, I didn't stay late
Before I got home I had nineteen dates
Everybody's trying to be my baby
Everybody's trying to be my baby
Everybody's trying to be my baby, now
Went out last night, I didn't stay late
Before I got home I had nineteen dates
Well, they took some honey from a tree
Dressed it up and they called it me
Everybody's trying to be my baby
Everybody's trying to be my baby
Everybody's trying to be my baby, now

General Comment:I think that if the case was that he was married when he wrote this, it would be better, but thats not the case? I don't know alot about the beatles history.

General Comment:I just have trouble with this song. It's like, the whole song is this guy complaining that too many women are attracted to him. Well, sorry if I don't shed a tear. It's equivalent to someone singing a song "Woe is me, I've got so much money, and I don't know what to do with it"
