Oh yeah, all right
Are you going to be in my dreams
Tonight?

.
.
.
.
.

And in the end
The love you take
Is equal to the love you make.

General Comment:The last lines seem so significant as a represenation of what the Beatles were for some many. We loved them, and gave our hearts and in return they gave their music. I feel the beatles rock band did a great job on using this as it's ending sequence with the flowers and lillies growing (lillies represent death - they're a funeral flower so it literally represents death and the end and seems like a sweet tribute to john and george).
And as for those guitar solo's...I had to scoop my brains off the floor afterwould. But it was worth it.

General Comment:"And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make" = You take out what you put in

I can't think of a more appropriate line to end their last real studio album*

This line was meant to be a send off, kind of like Paul knew that this was going to be it...I feel like this was his way of saying, "It's been fun, but it's time to go!"

At the same time it's a look into how much the groups growing differences effected Paul. He loved everything about making music with these guys and he knew that they couldn't keep their differences from ripping them apart any longer. Lots of people blame Paul for the break up because he was the one that officially called it off but I think he was just following through on what they were all feeling at the time...

I don't know that's my opinion on the matter

great song, great album, great band...

*I know Let It Be came after Abbey Road, but Abbey Road was the last album where they all worked together

General Comment:this songs dosen't stand alone. As part of the Golden Slumbers Medley it is perhaps part of the greatest musical accomplishment of all-time.

The Golden Slumbers Medley is proof that four flawed individuals can unite to create perfection.

General Comment:Whenever I hear this song, I always picture them laughing as they played their solos. And then, once they were finished with the song, they bow as the curtains drop. It always seems so fitting.

General Comment:This song is cool. When I sat down and listened to the whole album the song was The End so I thought it was the last song. It would have made a good last song. In my own oppinion they really messed up with making Her Majesty their last song.

Also Ringo did have a mad drum solo. I always try to do that by banging on the tables. My kids get mad when I do it. Haha. This was when George Harrison was at his best as well. Paul had pretty singing too at the end. But nothing to mention about John though, which sucks because he is the most talented and the coolest person of the band by a long shot! Peace

General Comment:I pray and wish upon wishing that sometime somewhere they will discover a video of a recording of The End, because I dream of seeing the sheer expression that goes into each solo.
