Asked a girl what she wanted to be
She said baby, can't you see
I want to be famous, a star on the screen
But you can do something in between
Baby you can drive my car
Yes I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I'll love you

I told a girl that my prospects were good
And she said baby, it's understood
Working for peanuts is all very fine
But I can show you a better time

Baby you can drive my car
Yes I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I'll love you

Beep beep'm beep beep yeah

Baby you can drive my car
Yes I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I'll love you

I told a girl I can start right away
And she said listen babe I got something to say
I got no car and it's breaking my heart
But I've found a driver and that's a start

Baby you can drive my car
Yes I'm gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I'll love you

Beep beep'm beep beep yeah
Beep beep'm beep beep yeah
Beep beep'm beep beep yeah
Beep beep'm beep beep yeah

General Comment:Believe it or not, the inspiration for this song came from an old British vaudeville joke. The entire joke is in the song. The punchline to the joke was: "I don't have a car yet, but I've got a driver. That's a start." In an interview in 1965, Paul was asked if he had written any songs for their upcoming album. His reply: "No songs yet, but we're working on a joke."

General Comment:Thought this song might be about Call of Duty. The song starts by the girl suggesting that she wants to be famous and a "star of the screen". This might refer to her desire to top the leaderboards and have her name in lights. She suggests that they could combine forces. Drive my car could refer to a form of military vehicle perhaps a jeep. The guy then continues that his prospects are good. This suggests that he already has a version of the game, he has a headset and is doing well. She however, is not impressed. Perhaps she isn't impressed with his low kill/death ratio and she believes he is "working for peanuts". He then agrees ("I can start right away") to combine forces and to form a clan. At this point the girl reveals that infact she doesn't have a car/jeep or even the game. Her plan is obviously to get the latest COD release and then at least she will have someone to drive the getaway car for her while she executes the driveby shootings.

General Comment:This is going to be a bit abstract, but maybe my interpretation says more about me than the song itself.

I think this song is about a discussion going on within one's psyche.

So it starts with a girl (it only matters that the individual is young) saying "can't you see? I want to be famous!" And the rational part of the brain chimes in saying "that's great, but for now, maybe you should just worry about driving this friggin car rather than thinking about our destination"

General Comment:I think it's about an affair with a movie star. I don't know if Paul ever had an affair with an actress, but he certainly had opportunities to. He did date an actress, Jane Ashner, but I don't think this song is about her. Apparently, this song is about the time just as the Beatles were becoming famous, before they were rich. In the song, the singer asks the girl what she wanted to be, she replies she wanted to be a movie star. The guy could very well be a chauffeur, as the song seems to indicate, but there is a sexual undertone there. The girl wants to have fun and apparently has sex with the driver as she moves up in her acting career. In the end, though, she admits that she doesn't even have a car, which asks the question: what else could the two have been doing earlier in the song other than driving in a car? They had to be making love, that's what.

General Comment:This song is about a chick driving Paul's "stick shift" "in between" his legs (jerking him off). That's pretty awesome.

General Comment:This song is deffently about halo 3. Its about when Cts deathwish couldnt find anyone to drive his warthog on standoff. Deathwish felt so left out of his clan, he got chronic depression and became a muslim, serving Ala. The next game Deathwish was in the wathog and it was on lastresort. He knew what eh had to do, he knew that, he had to serve ala, and kill all the jews. Deathwhish put his foot on the pedal, flooring it getting a doulbe splatter, then the triple, and finaly rams the wathog into a bunch of fusion coils.... for the OVERKILL RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH. Praise ala.

General Comment:This song is my favourite beatles song if not my overall favourite. It's really funny how the beatles have a song that fits my mood all the time. It's also funny how this has been my favourite song for a long time.. but my girlfriend wants to be an actress. and I'd drive her anywhere
