When I was very young
Nothing really mattered to me
But making myself happy
I was the only one

Now that I am grown
Everything's changed
I'll never be the same
Because of you

Nothing really matters
Love is all we need
Everything I give you
All comes back to me

Looking at my life
It's very clear to me
I lived so selfishly
I was the only one

I realize
That nobody wins
Something is ending
And something begins

Nothing really matters
Love is all we need
Everything I give you
All comes back to me

Nothing really matters
Love is all we need
Everything I give you
All comes back to me

Nothing takes the past away
Like the future
Nothing makes the darkness go
Like the light

You're shelter from the storm
Give me comfort in your arms

Nothing really matters
Love is all we need (love is all we need)
Everything I give you
All comes back to me

Nothing really matters (nothing's really matter)
Love is all we need (love is all we need)
Everything I give you (everything I give you)
All comes back to me

Nothing really matters (nothing's really matter)
(Love is all we need) love is all

Agree with the rest of the bloggers because What Madonna Really is Crying About in Nothing Really Matters is Love Itself. For Madonna, Love is the only aspect that matters In Our American Lives because Lady Madonna is Profusely Crying in this beautiful song. Her Tears Are Falling because her four artful students by the names of Lola, Rocco, David and Mercy have all impacted and changed her life. Being a mother is so important to Miss Ciccone-She never had a mother to love. Madonna is Very Happy but she is Extremely Sad because she can't quite really explain it-it's just there for her. That is why Madonna is Love. Between Smiles and Tears, Madonna is Reveling in the grace and beauty of her Ray of Light in her American Life. Madonna is Love!
