Now you want me
And you need me
I have got to
Get to leavin'
If you move on
Down that highway
I'll be burning
I'll be there, yeah...
Now it's over
We can go home
Just one last verse
And we're all done
But if you move on
Down your highway
I'll be burning
I'll be there, yeah...
If you move on
Down that highway
I'll be burning
I'll be there, yeah...
And you need me
I have got to
Get to leavin'
If you move on
Down that highway
I'll be burning
I'll be there, yeah...
Now it's over
We can go home
Just one last verse
And we're all done
But if you move on
Down your highway
I'll be burning
I'll be there, yeah...
If you move on
Down that highway
I'll be burning
I'll be there, yeah...

Damn.
Anyway, I finally listened to Maladroit, only listened to it once, didn't like many of the songs but this is one that really stood out, I really like it hehe... Lyrics on the one I listened to aren't the same as the ones here but whatever :P it's still a good song
'Written in a dressing room in Japan at a very though time, right when we were firing our manager and our entire business organization was in chaos. I felt like we were about to be run out of the business completely. I was feeling afraid and sad and somehow "Burndt Jamb" came out.'
Like not_blonde said I always thought this version was rather melancholic with the farewell lyrics and even the cheesy as riffs sound a bit wistful and yearning for something - and that quote puts it all into context.
Kick arse song though - makes all this emotion fly at you all at the same time! The bassline kicks - I love what Scott is bringing to Weezer!
well
kinda.
