It sounds like something from world war 2, when they put every Japanese person in an internment camp. this band put a lot of emotion into there music. When u read it u become part of it.

actually, to me it sounds like a heroin addiction...the "japenese dream" is the high...and when he come out he goes back to the "land of the blind" anyhow...and the "china white" reference

Not sure what a japanese dream is. I read somewhere that Smith said something really vague about it being something that happened to him while he was recording The Glove album. Whatever - it's a bouncy, catchy song.
