    General Comment:You know what's hilarious? This site is called SongMeanings, but I haven't seen one insight into the song's meaning. Not that it's riddled with metaphors or anything, but still. Jeez.

    I'm really not much of a Blink (or Box Car Racer, for that matter) fan, but this song is awesome. It's me in a nutshell: sometimes you just wish you were a better person, or that you could just make the world a better place. You want to start over, maybe reinvent yourself.

    My Interpretation:I don't see this as some stupid, sappy break up song. A lot of the lyrics don't fit for a break up song.

    I think he's talking about the things he doesn't like about himself and what he wishes he could be and do, and maybe there's someone that he looks up to (or loves) and wants to be like. Which is why he is listing all the things he wishes he was, then he says:
    "I wish I was you not I."


    He says:
    "I feel so cheap,
    so used unfaithful.
    Let's start over.
    Let's start over."
    because he's not living up to his own expectations for himself, which makes him upset and angry and he wants to start over and become all these things that he's not.





    Sometimes I sing this song to God. :}

    General Comment:Even though Blink 182 is pretty sweet, bcr is so much more personal. I feel like I can relate so much more to their music. This song is great to listen to while going through a break up.

    He stresses that he wants to start over. Maybe now that he knows what it's like without that person, he'll try so much harder to stay with that her. He'll be more honest, faithful, etc.
