    General Comment:Come on, The Hives are totally famous for self-glorification...not in a bad way they're obvious about it so it's funny.

    Anyways, this song is about how The Hives say the rock hard. They're talking about how they can do whatever they want just because they can. It's almost sarcastic, maybe talking about how teens do stupid stuff just because they "wanna". The music video is even satrical to the 60's, when almost everybody was on drugs, especially teens trying to set themselves apart and "find" themselves. The disease is prolly just thier awesome music, and I think this song is satire, in a way.

    General Comment:what??! I am pretty sure this song is not about STD's and being gay..It is just another song about them being THE HIVES and being famous..It's like a teenage tantrum about what will happen when they are big "rock stars" and they can do whatever they want "cuz they wanna...."

    When they say disease, they don't mean STD's...they mean like they are contagius because they are so good...

    General Comment:The song isn't about spreading STDs...The name of the band is the HIVES, so they want to "spread the disease" of instantaneously loving the Hives the moment you hear them...

    And the whole "I can do whatever I want" theme is about (I think) how a lot of other bands dress and how they play, and that Howlin' Pelle and his gang don't have to follow suit with them. (That's why they wear the black and white suits.)
