    General Comment:Has anyone ruled out:

    Beetles
    In my garden
    The heat
They come out in the heat.

General Comment:I always thought it was "They come out and they eat."

It's a little creepier that way.

General Comment:how the hell do you go about editing the content on here? because they're really not the real lyrics. anyone who's even remotely british can see that he says "beetles, under my carpet, under my feet. they come out in the heat."
and it hardly takes a genius to see it. i mean, how can anyone think that the word 'under' sounds like the word 'shit'? "shit my carpet" makes no sense either way.

    General Comment:Revision:

    Beetles.
    In my carpet.
    UNDER my feet.
    They come out at night?

    That last part is tricky.

    General Comment:BEETLES.
    IN MY CARPET.
    AT MY FEET.
    THEY COME OUT AT NIGHT.

    Goodness.

Well, it's about beetles. In his carpet. At his feet. And they come out at night. Brilliant.

General Comment:I saw somewhere that I remember thinking was pretty reliable read the lyrics as:

beetles, under my carpet, under my feet,

they come out in the heat

I think the misinterpretation's due to his weird accent and the way the synth sort of distorts a few of the harder consonants.

And I don't think it really means anything. It's more of the image you get than what it's supposed to represent. It's like a little mini-limerick about kids staring at bugs out of boredom and curiosity, except it's done from RDJ's slightly twisted perspective.
