Green to feel blue?
Is your vision purely golden?
Is your humour black or olden?
Do you find you're getting yellow?
'Though you know you're in the red dread
Red dread red dread red dread red dread red dread red
I'm your media friend
Transparent so close friend
Are you green to feel blue?
Is your vision purely golden?
Is your humour black or olden?
Do you find you're getting yellow?
'Though you know you're in the red dread
Red dread red dread red
I'm your media friend
Around the clock religion
Green to feel blue?
Is your vision purely golden?
Is your humour black or olden?
Do you find you're getting yellow?
'Though you know you're in the red dread
Red dread red dread red dread red dread red dread red
I'm your media friend
With you to the rainbow end
Green to feel blue
Is your vision purely golden?
Is your humour black or olden?
Do you find you're getting yellow?
'Though you know you're in the red dread
Red dread red dread red dread red dread red dread red
I'm your media friend

When I first heard it two years ago in CA it reminded me of a mash-up deconstruction of Michael Jackson's Billy Jean versus Princes Erotic City. In fact they all work well together in a set if a spinner is so inclined.
As fore mentioned by others on this string there is something about Media Person that speaks to the randomness of the media world - perhaps TV and internet as a serogate spiritual realities of sorts.
I just like the chaos of the glossolalia which sets well with the cling-clang bump and grind.
Red, Green and Blue are the colours that make up your TV screen...he uses these words a lot in the song!
Is your vision purely golden? Ever hear the phrase "golden oldie's"... is your humour black and golden..a continuation of golden oldies, old black and white TV comedy...."do you find you're getting yellow" black and white TV used to display some colours as yellow because of the way the colours difused...then onto the red
RGB or BW...same old shit. TV. But a friend to most people...
The green to feel blue represents the media offering you money to feel sad, like what happens when people go on day time talk shows.
Everything is pretty much self explanatory if you use my method to look at it.

anyways i think its about the media trying to gain your trust out of everything it can and brainwash you, as though the media was a real person just fooling who ever is dumb enough to listen to all the lies it feeds you...
well thats what i think at least
This song is obviously about the media and i think Blinko is saying the media tells you how to think but most of it is meaningless crap. I dunno, just a guess.
the whole song and rhyming structure reminds me of mother goose.
