this song is amazing, but i think they deleted it.

the song is on 666 ways to love, which is VERY rare only 1000 copies (i think!) its their almost demo tape. the girl singing on it is june hyde...same as (don't fear) the reaper! full of random facts today aren't i?

June Hyde's voice is so perfect for this song.. so so perfect. I adore the passion her and Ville both put into the lyrics. It makes the song all the more powerful... la la la.. anyone know who this woman is though???? ( June Hyde )

HIM can be okay I don't understand this obsession with Ville Valo. He's nothing special and neither is his music. All he sings about is the same thing over and over again. 666 this, You hate me that, I want to love you this. So repetetive. You can't even call this hardcore.

I like H.I.M but honestly ville is busted without make up.. i dunno I wouldn't go far with him if i met him.. I mean he looks hott with make up but i saw the solitary man video and i almost barfed but I still love h.i.m.'s music and I think ville has a great voice..

Screenwrite ur such an ass- i dont know where you've heard them say they are hardcore-and i dunno where you got this supposed knowlodge that roc k has to be hardcore...but just shut up about HIM they arent repetative, except the fact that every song is about love-but thats the point of LOVE metal.

lol, Diet Punk Rock HIM is soooo repetative, but there's nothing wrong with that. Ville obviously likes to sing about love and there's only so much you can have to say about love in a song, therefore his music appears to be repetative. When really it's just all on the same topic and I can understand if people don't like that, and if you don't good for you, stay away from HIM's music and leave fans alone. Ville's comparison to 666 and love is very interesting and I think that's one of the best things in his lyrics so there's more to it if you look into it.

All you guys are asking questions-this song comes from a rare album named 666 ways to love:prologue only 1000 copies were made thats why you cant find them in stores the girls name is unknown to the public HIM had girls to pick from to sing or it may be ville's old girlfriend or somethin else im not too sure in Dark Sekret love, (Don't fear) the Reaper and other songs

why do people who don't like HIM look up their lyrics? to me that just seems a little bit pathetic.

anyway, to the song. it's my favourite song ever...
Sanna June Hyde has such a beautiful voice and it goes so well with Ville's. She also sings with Ville in 'Don't Fear the Reaper'. actually, at the time, she was going out with Linde but when they split up she moved to London and never recorded anything with HIM again.

the song is basically about what it's called - dark secret love. basically two people are really in love but it's dark and secret and only when nobody's looking can they get closer. it's such a beautiful and passionate song. i love HIM so much. and i really really love Ville so so much however i wish Linde, Mige, Gas and Burton would get a little more credit. However, Gas and Burton weren't around at the time of Dark Sekret Love. so yes, best song ever:) and HIM really are the best band ever, a mon avis:P
