    General Comment:When it comes down to it, a loved ones breath is the most important thing. To be alive together, to be in love, and to be able to continue to share that love together is all that matters. Faith Hill sings this so beautifully!

    My Interpretation:Have you thought of it as if she's been inlove and she can feel it but she can't. Be with him in the moment so she daydreams about him and dreams about him at night waiting for him to come back. So she gets discourage but then snaps back and then he finally comes to her In the end and she can breathe again and loves deeply.

    General Comment:Something has always bothered me about this song. Its beautiful but I think maybe misunderstood. On the surface, everyone seems to think its love- I am wondering if it needs to be examined deeper. I think its foreshadowing. The comments or direction to "just breathe" sounds more like "don't say anything". Perhaps she is afraid of what he is going to say. Its a perfect moment. She is finally realizing what he means to her. Almost as if she is realizing too late. She seems more like she is trying to convince him that its love and again to not say anything, especially when she asks (begs?) "baby isn't that the way love is supposed to be?" If everything was going perfect, you wouldn't need to ask that question. I think the man is leaving her- she knows it already but he hasn't told her yet. Thats my thoughts.

I think its unrealistic to find a love thats like this forever, but its the sweetest thing while it lasts. I like the line about "theres no need for words right now". Once you can share a perfect silence with another person, you know you'r ein love
