Lyrics for All Together Now as interpreted by Ice

All Together Now Lyrics
One, two, three, four
Can I have a little more?
Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
I love you
A, B, C, D
Can I bring my friend to tea?
E, F, G, H, I, J
I love you
Bom bom bom bom-pa bom
Sail the ship, bom-pa bom
Chop the tree, bom-pa bom
Skip the rope, bom-pa bom
Look at me
All together now, all together now
All together now, all together now
Black, white, green, red
Can I take my friend to bed?
Pink, brown, yellow, orange, and blue
I love you
All together now, all together now
All together now, all together now
Bom bom bom bom bom-pa bom
Sail the ship, bom-pa bom
Chop the tree, bom-pa bom
Skip the rope, bom-pa bom
Look at me
All together now, all together now
All together now, all together now
All together now!

I know, the end of Yellow Submarine is awesome. The Muppets covered this? I really want to see it.

I know that it has appeared on Sesame Street, and I do know that there used to be at least one scene on Sesame Street based on the psychedelic Yellow Submarine ideal.

So many ABC rhymes and counting rhymes existed when this was written that Paul must have drawn upon at least one of them, although it does sound like this must have been a regional, tongue-in-cheek version.

How they managed to record this song without collapsing into hysterics is beyond me.

My son loves this song!

this is the most overwhelmingly happy song i've heard in my life. I can't help but smile. I think it's physically impossible not to. Wait...the muppets covered this?? I don't think my system could take the excitement. :D

This song is a beautiful expression of Paul's genious nostalgic songwriting skills, it reminds me of a circus, a jugband and a band of children playing together creating something that has no meaning or anything deep but just making music. This song is a great representative of some of the things the Beatles stood for. It's one of my favourite Beatles songs and I cover this song with my band on concerts. It's usually our last song and it ALWAYS gets people singing along by the dozens!

This song was adapted by McCartney from one he wrote to entertain young relatives under the title of "Skipping 'round the room" It draws on playground chants (as did I Am The Walrus) & was taken up by football crowds for a season or two.
It thus helped to keep the oral tradition from folk music alive. For this reason it has a very special place in my own affections (that & Lennon's last use of Chromatic Harmonica on a Beatles recording.
Sneered at many, including predictably Ian MacDonald,it is a good example of the Beatles diversity of influences, extreme versatility & inclusivity. What's wrong with that?

did you know that if you play this song backwards, instead of saying " all together now" they say " i buried Paul, i buried Paul"

Good little sing-a-long made famous at soccer matches in the UK. This song was originally recorded during the Sgt. Pepper sessions but was never released until the group was asked to come forth with some new tunes for their animated feature, Yellow Submarine.

Oh my god. I cannot believe I have never heard about this song! I was just
listening to Yellow Submarine and I had seen the ratings on this song (which were only like 2 out of 5
stars) and i would always just skip this song but when I was all alone at home I decided to listen to
the song and now I love the song its such a simple rift with a simple meaning like all you need is love

This song and all the Beatles (yes even Ringo) are ~sexy~
