its not petulance. i dunno wat it is listening 2 it again. i used to think it was just 'i lose myself' but its not, its different at the end than at the beginning.

ive listened to it again and again and i think its safe to say im no further fwd! i have no idea what he says. but its a great song. one that you can sort of scream to and just lose yourself to.

the whole album, to me, is about anger and aggression.. and anxiety. definitely not your usual pop radio hits. :P

this song to me makes me think that maybe something is slowly driving Billie Joe crazy and he's just about to blow up.. so he does.

Aurgh it's annoying trying to find lyrics to one song when no two lyric websites agree...I think the ??'s is "petulance" but I'm not really sure...it's still a good song...

I think he says a different thing in the '??'s I can't figure out the question marks in the first chorus but inthe second he says "Run out of ritalin...I'm all wound up." you know the stuff that hyper active people take.
