This is my favorite song by blink! I agree with you theswej16.. this guy just got dumped and he's takin out all his anger like he never needed her in the first place. damn it sucks to be dumped!!

this is one of my favorite songs off of buddha and chesire cat.. i like the chesire cat version better tho. Great lyrics and i felt this way after my bf dumped me!

even though i dont care for blink that much, i do still like there old songs such as this one.

it reminds me of loosing a bestfriend and having hatred for them. lol :/ cause i lost a friend recently and she sucks major ass, so i use this as my "Hate" song. hehe.

OK, so he dumps his girlfriend and now lives alone...but the "I'd Much rather be riding prone" line sounds like he's having sex with another girl. Did I miss something or is my interpretation wrong?

Does the tune of this song remind you of Avril Lavigne - SK8R Boi? It sure reminds me of it, except this song cam out first of course. I really like this song a lot, it's super cute.

^Lol @ Avril Lavigne. "Boi" is the term used for a Lesbian.
Anyway, this song doesn't seem to resemble anything from Avril Lavigne.. But this song is one of Blink's best before Enema. It has a lot of meaning and a good tune too.

riding prone = riding a surfboard with your stomach to the board. think of "going prone" in military speak. basically a way of saying he'd rather be doing something he enjoys than to waste his time worrying about an unresponsive girl.

From the words of Tom Delonge himself, it's about two things that don't quit go together, (Toast and Bananas) but were suppose too like Salt and Pepper. It's an amazing song.

Also, Tom rips of the first line from "Marriage" by the Descendents. Oh well. They WERE there biggest influence. ;)
