there are two blink 182's. one that wrote great stuff like this and one that writes the stuff that sells today. both are creditable, but this stuff cannot be touched. simple, true, and just great.

what can i say, this is true, and real blink 182...not the stuff thats out there now. The stuff out there now is okay, but their older stuff is like a totally different level of writting. Buddha is by far Blink's best cd.

blink 182 is not emo they ar Diet Caffeine Free Diluded Punk Rock. thats right boys and girls they ar NOT really punk simply a "Diet" version of it. If you want to listen to PUNK check out Millencolin, NOFX, Unwritten law, Dropkick Mupheys. bands like that. but to this song it is a MASTERPIECE! I love this song it has helped me through some tough times of a broken heart. Ataris Blue Skies Broken Hearts next 12 Exits...

rina... how many of us were alive in 77 when the punk revoluton hit? and punk has changed. Joey ramone is dead making the ramones dead. Sid Vicious is dead but sex pistls still going. MISFITS Talk about ownage man they rock, i like new misits better though, im not down with danzig and his satanic ways. that guy was crazy. but BLINK RULES EVEN THOUGH THEY R WATERED Down DIET CAFFEINE FREE PUNK they are still awesome

Who cares what punk is, they still suck ass! They would suck if they had afros and were reggae! Their music just sounds like crap and it just proves that you don`t need talent to be a musician. I say buy their cds... if you would like a nice drink coaster or frizbee!

first of all, i know 100000 more real punk band that NOFx and millencolin are skacore... they mostly do ska or have a ska sound, and that band is dropkick murphys, that you every, and this is my thoughts on emo that i posted once and ill post again

emo doesn't exist, the term was coined by thrasher magazine to describe Embrace, but if you're gonna call music that, let it be one of these bands and not dashboard confessional..... the bands like Rites of Spring, Moss Icon, Navio Forge, Sunny Day Real Estate, Still Life.... and i' not putting fugazi in here for reaosn...fugazi isn't emo. i used to considert them but then i thought and used some brains and figured out that they sound more like Gang of Four and are more influenced by Ted fucking Nugent than Moss Icon. eventhough they do contain half of rites of spring. think they're something more than emo though and they dont really sound like any other bands of the genre. but yeah, calssifing them as emo isnt a crime, i just thing they arent emo...


but i dont think any of u would know those bands i listed.

blink sucks and all the bands that Jesssica listed are pretty good, Fugazi is great, Rites Of Spring are great, Sunny Day Realestate are good, do u like Failure, Sonic Youth, or The Pixies, you sound like you know your shit when it comes to music.

Hmmm...Blink 182 are ok. But let's just say music is music, and whoever likes what, so be it, and leave it at that. If I didnt like Blink 182, i wouldnt go around saying that people shouldnt like them, because I dont care. I'm sick of fighting over people who think they know "real" punk and people who try and change other's taste in music.

k lets just say that anything that is emotional is emo, because thats what emo means. i figure since magazines and basically everyone in the media are calling everything remotely emotional emo, i will too. emo is a label, and people who shun music because of what category the masses place it in need to lighten up. i listen to what you would consider emo, hardcore metal and pop even, hell i dont care what genre as long as it sounds good. i like this song, i like most blink songs, also there is no REAL music anymore, all REAL bands have either changed their style to suit the trends or have broken up/died, etc etc, and arguing over semantics is redundant, this site is to rate songs, not argue, shit... btw, just had to add this that if you havent heard anything by em, check out something corporate (they're prolly all on much music and mtv now anyway...) but still they manage to kick more ass than most bands

props to you matt, but i'd like to stay away from the labels, blink has been called punk, emo, and is even on a ska compilation, i despise them, but i love punk/emo/ska so what does that say about labels? Not a damn thing, they're pointless. And Something Corporate are gods.
