Yesterday was a million years ago
In all my past lives I played an asshole
Now I found you, it's almost too late
And this earth seems obliviating
We are trembling in our crutches
High and dead our skin is glass
I'm so empty here without you
I crack my xerox hands

I know it's the last day on earth
We'll be together while the planet dies
I know it's the last day on earth
We'll never say goodbye

And the dogs slaughter each other softly
Love burns its casualties
We are damaged provider modules
Spill the seeds at our children's feet
I'm so empty here without you
I know they want me dead

I know it's the last day on earth
We'll be together while the planet dies
I know it's the last day on earth
We'll never say goodbye

Song Meaning:This is one of the 7 songs about Omega's personal side. Its a song about Coma White, his ideal of perfect happiness.
    --------------------
"Yesterday was a million years ago.
In all my past lives I played an asshole."

Omega speaks about his "past lives" like his life in the Valley of Death and his life in space, or HOLY WOOD, and to everyone on the opposite sides of where he was he was "an asshole."
    ---

"Now that I found you, it's almost too late.
    And this earth seems obliviating.
We are trembling in our crutches.
High and dead, our skin is glass.
I'm so empty here without you.
    I crack my xerox hands."

Omega seems to have found the happiness he'd been looking for, or perhaps he'd overdosed too much on his drugs and is dying. As the drugs make him feel so empty, he feels peace in his heart for the first time; and it would seem he is dying.
    ---

"I know it's the last day on earth.
We'll be together while the planet dies.
I know it's the last day on earth.
    We'll never say goodbye."

As he finds the happiness he'd been pursuing at the moment of his death.
    ---

"And the dogs slaughter each other softly.
    Love burns its casualties.
We are damaged provider modules, and spill the seeds at our children's feet."

He reflects on space, HOLY WOOD, the place he'd been as he dies.
    ---

"I'm so empty here without you
I know they want me dead."

He knows that, as a star, his death would be martyred and he would be immortalised and idolised through people's fear and confusion about death.

My Opinion:"Yesterday was a million yrs ago" He misses what he had with that person and he cant bare being without it. "Last Day On Earth" is possibly exaggerating, the world is over now that hes without this woman.
"We'll never say goodbye" is his way of saying he will never forget what they had.

"And the doors slide each other softly" Maybe someone is in the hospital, dying and they have accepted it but hes not ready to accept it yet.

My Interpretation:I have always thought this song was about an internet romance due to the fact that in the intro you can hear the sound of a dial up connection. Along with the themes of the album itself I would draw that Manson is making a statement about how plastic and fake that love has become to a point that it is no longer real but digital. Just saying.

General Comment:In an interview he said that the song is about the last day on earth and looking at it with someone you love, or something like that. I dont exactly remember, but he made a painting wich kind of explains this song ro me, you can look it up.

General Comment:As always it seems that every sentence is written With Many Hours Of Thinkin Behind it...

And as always many meanings can be comprehended from each Sentence, which illuminates Manson's Scrupulosity!

i think the most important thing that is Obvious in this text is Marilyn Believes in after-death Life, and it is Clear in "We'll never say goodbye"

The Phrase "We're Trembling In Our Crutches" undoubtedly means being decrepit after many years

The most uncomprehended part i think is The Phrase "XeRoX Hands" , everyone knows XeRoX is A Copier Device used by many, so the phrase XeRoX hands should be the hands that imitate anything and has nothing made by itself, but thats just my dubious opinion

General Comment:No one reads the book?
I think is about when he has broke with him first gf.
    He become cold and unsensitive...
All the world that he used to "see" has ended....
    Sorry my english.

General Comment:I think that it is about an apocalyptic dream that he had, in which the world was ending and he was trying to find his lost love. Also, I think its based on a dream because of the ambiguity of wether he found them, and the profound sadness of how the world is ending. This is the sort of thing that one only really gets from dreams.
