Go on, go on
Leave me breathless
Come on (come on)
Yeah, yeah

The daylight's fading slowly
But time with you is standing still
I'm waiting for you only
The slightest touch and I feel weak

I cannot lie
From you I cannot hide
And I'm losing the will to try
Can't hide it (can't hide it)
Can't fight it (can't fight it)

So go on, go on
Come on, leave me breathless
Tempt me, tease me
Until I can't deny this
Loving feeling (loving feeling)
Make me long for your kiss
Go on (go on), go on (go on)
Yeah, come on, yeah

And if there's no tomorrow
And all we have is here and now
I'm happy just to have you
You're all the love I need somehow

It's like a dream
Although I'm not asleep
And I never want to wake up
Don't lose it (don't lose it)
Don't leave it (don't leave it)

So go on, go on
Come on, leave me breathless
Tempt me, tease me
Until I can't deny this
Loving feeling
Make me long for your kiss
Go on, go on
Yeah, come on (come on)

(Yeah, yeah)
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

And I can't lie
From you I cannot hide
And I've lost my will to try
Can't hide it (can't hide it)
Can't fight it (can't fight it)

So go on (go on), go on (go on)
Come on, leave me breathless
Tempt me, tease me
Until I can't deny this
Loving feeling (loving feeling)
Make me long for your kiss

Go on (go on), go on (go on)
Come on, leave me breathless (leave me breathless)
Go on (go on), go on (go on)
Come on, leave me breathless (leave me breathless)
Go on (go on), go on (go on)
Come on, leave me breathless (leave me breathless)
Go on, go on

I like this song. I don't care what the rest of you say, this is a great tune. To me, this is like saying "I can't fight this feeling anymore, I like you. It seems like you like me so go on...leave me breathless". It's just....awesome!

A good song to put in a teenage-romance-college comedy.

The Corrs are great, but this song just doesn't like the Corrs. This sounds like Shania, and fittingly so since Shania's hubby produced it.

This song is really pretty. I agree with it being in a teenage-romance-college comedy.

It's too bad that people don't see the Corrs for how talented they really are. They are so together musically...you can only really appreciate their talent when you see them play live. They are so perfectly in-synch with one another. It makes sense, they are all family after all..

Very nice song, I love everything on it, the tune, the voices, the lyrics. It fitted so perfectly to my life back in 2000. To me it means to forget your reservations and let yourself enjoy the moment...something that is hard to do most of the times, specially when you are already in love with that someone...

I used to relate so perfectly to it, cause I knew this guy and I had no future together but I couldn't resist him and he had me in heaven...so it would make me smile to hear: "and if there's no tomorrow and all we have is hear and now, I'm happy just to have you..." It makes me think of someone who comes and goes but does not stay and does not fade away, exactly what this guy is in my life,

I remember them saying they made this song to just try something new and they liked how it went. Probably spawned Irresistable...

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
