    General Comment:This may be a long-shot, but perhaps it's about the civil war in Ireland? This was an ongoing dispute, passed down from generation to generation, tearing families apart and feeding on ignorance and religion. "The law was her enemy" could refer to British rule.

    General Comment:I think this song is about a family who's sheltered life and tight bond is wrecked up by the death of the father who had to go into war (because of the law). the 'I' in the song loves his father and hates the gouvernement who took him away from him. He keeps searching for his father (can't let him go) and keeps on worshipping him.

    General Comment:This song is about something really deep and political "Born into peace Born into ignorance" I think he is refferning to being born in Australia, a country lucky enough to be in a peace, where people can be bought up in a sheltered ignorant life. The song then talks about law, religion and war. both law and religion can be corupted to make the innocent disadvantaged im not sure as to what the reference to war may mean. possibly what goes on outside ones sheltered life. This is only my view.....
