And here's to you
Mrs. Robinson,
Jesus loves you more than you will know,
Woah woah woah,
God bless you please
Mrs. Robinson,
Heaven holds a place for those who pray,
Hey hey hey

We'd like to know a little bit about you for our files,
We'd like to help you to learn to help yourself,
Look around you all you see are sympathetic eyes
Stroll around the grounds until you feel at home,

And here's to you
Mrs. Robinson
Jesus loves you more than you will know
Woah woah woah,
God bless you please
Mrs. Robinson
Heaven holds a place for those who pray
Hey hey hey

Hide it in a hiding place where no one ever goes,
Put it in your pantry with your cupcakes,
It's a little secret just the Robinsons' affair,
Most of all you got to hide it from the kids and coo coo cachoo

Mrs. Robinson
Jesus loves you more than you will know
Woah woah woah
God bless you please
Mrs. Robinson
Heaven holds a place for those who pray
Hey hey hey

Sitting on a sofa on a Sunday afternoon
Going to the candidates debate
Laugh about it shout about when you got to choose
Every way you look at it you loose
Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio
A nation turns its lonely eyes to you?
Woo woo woo,
What's that you say Mrs. Robinson?
Joltin' Joe has left and gone away
Hey hey hey.

General Comment:I heard this song on my first day of high school. It's very interesting, and I like this version better even though my brother says I'm whack.

General Comment:This song was originally by Simon and Garfunkel that was made for the movie The Graduate. I think its about Mrs. Robinson who seems like a normal woman having a secret afair.

General Comment:I love this song..It's much better than the original, I think...But you still gotta give props to Simon and Garfunkel...Oh, and a funky bass line, by the way.

General Comment:my pet theory is that this song is not, in fact, about an affair between a young man and older woman as in the film "the graduate", but is really about Mrs Robinson entering a mental institution. I reckon this cos of lines like "we'd like to know a little bit about you for our files - we'd like to help you to learn to help yourself - look around you all you see are sympathetic eyes - stroll around the grounds untill you feel at home" That all sounds like the sort of stuff you might get told at an institution. and hiding it from the kids, and jesus loves you, all sounds like the sort of narrow-mindedness surrounding mental health.
