  General Comment:I can relate to this song so much. I feel that he's invested so much of himself and his time to this one girl and he has finally given up. There's nothing left but heartache for the girl, yet at the end he still wants her very much. He knows it wont work out because time after time she repeats the same bad behavior and he's just done dealing with it. Relationship down the drain, feelings remain, nothing will ever go back to how it used to be.

  I think this songs about disapointment, each stanza representing the deteriorating state of the relationship as he's like, disillusioned. He realises she's not who he thought she was and is determind to walk away after he gives her chance after chance.

  ^ this is like the first let down, she goes against their plans, does something unwanted and unexpected, but he's like ALRIGHT i'm not happy but i'll just let it go for tonight. maybe he feels like its a one time thing and tommorow will be better.

  ^ live from the stage is like, a moment when he needed her. Maybe they'd planned out her being there, in this second where he put in all his work for the show, and she didn't come. so he's done waiting. she wasn't there for him when he needed her so he's saying, no more waiting bs. if you want me come get me.

  ^ him talking about how when she just leaves him alone he can't be hurt, and although he's not excellent he knows hes better without her. he goes from not waiting to leaving.

  ^ again, she wasn't there for him when he needed her (maybe he gave her another chance). he feels like the positive way he viewed her was bullshit, and in his moment of need she left him out on the stage alone AGAIN. and now he knows he'll never see her the way he once did. I think Natalie Portman is a reference to her putting on an act, maybe like she cared. Or maybe it has something to do with him discovering he saw her for something she never really was.

  i can say that chino writes his songs with meaning to himself but leaves his lyrics so ambiguous anyone can relate to them personally.
  
  I think the song is about being absolutely crazy about someone. Someone who is out of your league or someone you JUST DEEP down know you cant have. Your shots of hooking up with them are like hooking up with natalie portman. lol. and about finally being heartbroke at the fact you cant have them. so you say im not gonna wait on you anymore. its about letting go.

  General Comment:This about being fed up with your significant other's behavior or attitude and finally ending it. Walking away when it's so fucking impossible to do. And I really love the bittersweet last line of the song.

  General Comment:for me, this song explains the feeling of being in love with someone you know you can never have. he wants, more than anything in the world, to be with this girl, but he knows it can never happen, and the pain of that thought is killing him, so he walks away from her.
