its about knowing that if other people knew how it was to live trapped, such as in apartheid or considered inferior, if they knew how it felt they would agree and help make everyone free.
its about racism equality and everyone really being equal.

This should fit in between the second and third stanzas as shown above.
Love the song, its obviously about racial equality, and i love the way they used a part from U2's one, but completely changed the meaning.
