"I got a crush on a pretty pistol
Should I tell her that I feel this way?
Father told us to be faithful"

"I got a crush on a pretty pistol
Should I tell her that I feel this way?
I've got love songs in my head
That are killing us away"

"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?"
"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?"
Fuck yeah

I've got love songs in my head, killing us away
I've got love songs in my head, killing us away

She tells me I'm a pretty bullet
I'm gunna be a star some day
Mother says that we should look away
She tells me I'm a pretty bullet
An Imitation Christ
I've got love songs in my head
That are killing us away

"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?"
"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?"
"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?"
"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?"
Fuck yeah

I've got love songs in my head, killing us away
I've got love songs in my head, killing us away
I've got love songs in my head, killing us away

"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?
"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?"
"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?"
"Do you love your guns?" Yeah
"god?" Yeah
"The government?"
Fuck yeah
Last night
I think he should of suffered
Longer

General Comment:am i getting it right that "3Gs" are connected to 666, making the "loving your guns, god, government" more ironic and contradictory

General Comment:Its totally about the three things that make america. guns god an govt. i have a manson tattoo down my ribs devoted to the fact that those three things build this country and who we are but at the same time is tearing this place down from the inside.
idk its like some cry against the brainwash we recieve everyday, and one of the ways to break it is to be the bullet and f*ck Sh*t up

General Comment:That's a good point. A lot of people are either afraid of who they are or don't know who they are at all. Hell, I'm twenty-seven and I'm still trying to figure that out. It's even harder for teenagers, what with all the other problems they face.

General Comment:By using the word "prep" you're just further etching the line that seperates so many kids from one another. If the clothes you wear or the music you listen to defines who you are, you are one useless piece of shit. And by trying not to be a "prep" you're just conforming to what someone else considers to be "non-conformity." Just be yourself!!!

General Comment:One thing about the columbines shooters. They didn't kill the actual bullies. They killed other ppl. One of the girls they shot was shot only because she wouldn't deny Jesus. Kinda says something about the hw strong faith can be for some1. Great song and ppl shouldn blame this kinda stuff on rock bands they should ask where the parents were. Same wit virginia tech they blamed it on nirvana because the shooter listened to him. But he knew not what it means. Listen to in bloom and you'll understand that

General Comment:The "three G's", as they have been called, are given in ranking order in this song.
Guns, symbolizing our liberties, are a gift from the state. Liberties are given to invoke our trust and loyalty in the gouvernment.
God, symbolizing our religious beliefs and essentially what is right, is used by the gouvernment to justify its actions. Thus, it would appear that the gouvernment is doing what God wants, that it is performing a justice through the indesputable command of God, in theory.
Thus, when you disagree with the gouvernment, you are against freedom and against God. Sound familiar? Freedom, liberty, they are words thrown around to keep us loyal to the state. God, and his justice, they are used to gain the support of the religious right. God does not determine what the state does, the state determines what God wants. Hence, all state decisions are with God, and all who oppose the state decision are against God.
Back to the significance the order the G's are mentioned. Guns, liberties, are a gift to us from the state. However, they are God given rights.
And God given rights can be taken away at Gods command, as interpreted by the state. Thus, God outranks Guns.
The state manipulates God. And so, for all intents and purposes, the state is God. Thus, those who unknowingly follow God, are following the state. In subliminal fashion, the gouvernment uses ideas of liberty and religion as pawns for control over us.
That is why it is important that we Americans Love our guns, god and Gouvernment. And we do, hence we sing the love song.

General Comment:I agree with JIGSAWMAKER. The Guns and God are shown in this song to cement the grip of the state over all of us. The order by which the "three G's" are named is also important to note. The Guns, our liberties, are a gift from the state to us. God, our religious beliefs, justify the actions of the gouvernment. Thus, the gouvernment in the end is seen as benevolent giver of liberty and with God, in the right. Any opposition to the state is therefore seen as an attack on freedom and God. Sound familiar?
Now we go back to the significance of the order. Guns, liberties, are below God, the "right", justice. Justice, in theory is finite and presice, determined by God, and the gouvernment in theory goes with God. When in reality, justice is determined by the state, which has over powered and manipulated God.

General Comment:I agree with JIGSAWMAKER here. Thee song relates more directly to the religious and patriotic right. The order of which these "three G's" is named is also significant. The Guns are symbolism for the liberties promised in the Constitution. It represents the first step in the process of the total control of the state over us. God, represents the use of religion to back up the decisions made by the state. The gouvernment, at the point mentioned in the song, is seen as benevolent for the liberties it has allowed the people to have, and in the right for siding itself with God. When in fact, the gouvernment has only done these things to cement a solid grip on the country through both patriotism and religious fervor. Thus, we are brought back to the importance of the order of occurrance of god, gouvernment and guns. The guns, our liberties, are used in turn with God, a fundemental view of what is right, is alligned with the gouvernment. Thus, the gouvernment, the state, is supported by and ellavated to supremacy by our liberties and christian beliefs. Guns, a gift from the gouvernment, are below God, the gouvernment's justification for its actions. Meanwhile, both guns and God have been used to trick middle America into being blindly loyal ot the gouvernment, the most important G of the three.
