Backstroke lover always hidin' 'neath the cover
'Till I talked to my daddy he say
He said, "You ain't seen noting
'Till you're down on a muffin
Then you're sure to be a-changin' your ways"

I met a cheerleader, was a real young bleeder
All the times I can reminisce
Ah the best thing lovin'
With her sister and her cousin
Started with a little kiss, like this

See-saw swingin' with the boys in the school
With your feet flyin' up in the air
Singin' hey diddle-diddle with the kitty in the middle
You be swingin' like you just didn't care

So I took a big chance at the high school dance
With a missy who was ready to play
Was it me she was foolin'?
'Cause she knew what she was doin'
Taught me how to walk this way
She told me to

"Walk this way, talk this way
Walk this way, talk this way
Walk this way, talk this way
Walk this way, talk this way"
Ah, just give me a kiss

School girl sadie with the classy kinda sassy
Little skirt climbing way up her knees
There was three young ladies in the school gym locker
When I noticed they was lookin' at me

I was a high school loser
Never made it with a lady
Till the boys told me something I missed
Then my next door neighbour
With a daughter had a favour
Took me just a little kiss, like this

See-saw swingin' with the boys in the school
With your feet flyin' up in the air
Singin' hey diddle-diddle with the kitty in the middle
You be swingin' like you just didn't care

So I took a big chance at the high school dance
With a missy who was ready to play
Was it me she was foolin'?
'Cause she knew what she was doin'
Told me how to walk this way
She told me to

"Walk this way, talk this way
Walk this way, talk this way
Walk this way, talk this way
Walk this way, talk this way"
Just give me a kiss

My Interpretation:I think that this song is about the singer and how he kept having sex. "So I took a big chance at the high school dance
With a missy who was ready to play
Was it me she was foolin'?
'Cause she knew what she was doin'
Told me how to walk this way"
This part right here is about the singer having sex with a slut after a high school dance. We know that she was a slut because it says "she knew what she was doin'". I think that the singer is either reciting his life in a song or that he is having a daydream of how it could be if he werent such a "high school loser". He keeps having fantasies of what could happen if he werent a high school loser.

General Comment:Are you sure it isn't "real young breeder?" Not that it would change much as it still implies the cheerleader's early loss of virginity.

General Comment:To be honest, I didn't read the other comments. But I know what it's about-when he was 27 he had legal guardianship over a fourteen year old girl. They lived together doing drugs and having sex for three years. This song was written about her. Cheerleader...real young bleeder...come on, people. High school dance? Yeah. I know. I was crushed when I found out that Steven Tyler had done this. But hey, I've seen far worse.

General Comment:The dudes from run dmc didn't even know what a muffin was!!! The ORIGINAL Walk This Way is 110+ better than the 1986 version.

General Comment:degree7 you don't know what you're talking about.

This is the coolest riff ever conducted in the history of forever and will never be topped.

The cleverest concoction of sleazy lyrics in the history of forever.

Overall, in the history of forever it's a great song.

My Opinion:I'm pretty sure this is a strong contender for the best 'worst' song in the world.

General Comment:This tune ain't about anything higher than what people do with their -- well, let's say their "lowers."

General Comment:I like both the original and the Run-DMC versions equally. It's not really fit to call it a "cover" . Collaboration would be a better word considering that Joe Perry himself described it as the first time that somebody mixed peanut-butter and chocolate.
