New found glory fans who get the song are way cool! the song is great,to me its all about being betrade and stupid people playing mind games with you."stupid games are for stupid people" that part is the ROX!

    General Comment:does anyone know why its called 2's&3's?

    this song really got me into the "nothing gold can stay" album. i can really relate to what its saying about wishy-washy friendships. i love all the metaphors they used.

    "stupid games are for stupid people..."
    its straightforward, yes, but that line really stood out for me.

    General Comment:yes, i have to agree. The opening lyrics are amazing. They are some of my most favorite, if not the most. People are always arguing about wheither or not song lyrics can be thought of as poetry. I say just show them this.

    General Comment:"Stupid games are for stupid people."

    Quite possibly my favorite lyric from any NFG song.....Yeah it's not too profound or anything but it's so frank and universal...I mean who can't relate to that? And for once, it's a good solid line that doesn't neccessarily have to be related to a failed teenage romance...It can be applied to friendships on all levels and basically to life in general...I love it.

    General Comment:one of my favorite anfg songs. i'm not too into nfg stuff.

    unlike most of their songs, i don't think this one is about girls specifically. i took it as being sort of a self-awakening experience after being...i guess betrayed...by a friend.

    General Comment:I think this song is manely about someone, or rather something good actually happening to someone. But, for some reason they know that they can't go with this. (hints the lyric.) and i know, i won't feel it again if i just played along. I think the "it" in this lyric is change. If that makes sence to you guys. it does to me.
    this is also one of my favorite new found songs. I was saposse to go see them on the civic tour and didnt. IM SO PISSED!

    General Comment:This was the song that got me into NFG. My best friend at college had just gotten a girlfriend, and I was feeling really left out. This opened up a flood of emotions that I had buried since high shcool. I heard this song a few days after I was really depressed, and I identified with it perfectly, because things were changing around me, and I had felt this down before. It made me believe that I'm not the only one that goes through emotional pain.

    General Comment:This song is definately their best ever...it owns every other song they have ever written...It gives me motivation to do anything...Stupid games are for Stupid people....i love that line...the whole beat of the song just gives it some kind of ora...i know i spelled it wrong...sue me...before every lacrosse game.....this song is blaring in my car....later
