I really like this song. Its not the typical rock song that most people listen to. However, from a musical stand point, its just something I guess the band wanted to do. Acctually, let me rephrase that. Its probably something the drummer wanted to do. Its like he's just playing around. Almost like he's in a basement with some of his friends showing off going "Look, I can do this." I guess that's why I like it.

since it's called cure for the itch, i think it might be like the itch of linkin park meaning something they really wanted to do so they did it.

I think maybe the song is called cure for the itch Joe Hahn (The DJ) does all of that scratching on the turntables. So I guess what they mean is that Joe's scratching represents scratching an itch.

Another one of my favorites Joey Hahn's solo track. For some reason I get like a vision whenever I'm listening to this song. It's of a broken down town hit by a hurricane after the hurricane ended or something. Wierd.

This instrumental is great, and just awakens a mood in me and even offers a bit of inspiration for me when I listen to it, and like King Nothing, I also get an impression in my mind that fits with the song, although it's about one of my own characters, like for her what the Imperial March is for Darth Vader. This is a very nice track, indeed.

Most of the samples in this song come from the linkin park demo Step Up, which is an ok song.

This song is nice but it's nothing terribly difficult to make, anyone with a loop program and some samples can make a similar, or much better song. People like DJ Hahn have fun with arranging that stuff down to the last detail and so they make a career out of it. Awesome, yes, but don't listen to it and think "gee, i could never make something like that".

First of all I am a neo which is the root word for new. I am very obsess with Limin Park. My opinion on what does the song title "Cure for the Itch" means is that the entire band was probably just messing around with their instruments and when they were done they saw to themselves that what they did was actually cool and decided to make that as one of their songs on the album. They were also probably trying to express their true style of music by using their instruments and making one up.
