For you my dear sister
Holding onto me forever
Disco dancing with the rapists
Your only crime is silence

Can't work at this anymore
Can't move, I want to stay at home
Tied up to all these crutches
Never far from your hands

Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Can't speak, can't think, won't talk, won't walk

Doctors tell me that I'm cynical
I tell them that it must be chemical
So what am I doing girl
Cry into my drink I disappear

Eyes for teeth waving over me
Bring down the shadows of my mind
Sleep and breathe under our sheets
Inhale the anxiety in between, in between, in between, in between

Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Through September under the weather

In between, in between, in between, in between

Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Tsunami tsunami came washing over me
Take the GI's I will have the spies

Apparently it's about the Silent Twins, these sisters who found it impossible to communicate with anyone apart from each other. THey wouldn't talk for years but after one twin died, the other suddenly started talking and cummunicating like a normal person. It is SUCH an amazing song

The song is indeed about the 'Silent Twins', June and Jennifer Gibbons, two black girls who lived in Haverfordwest in Wales. The "disco dancing with the rapists" line refers to a 'novel' written by Jennifer called 'The Pugilist', in which a local disco incites the patrons to insane violence. They commited several acts of arson, which led to their imprisonment. As someone mentioned earlier, when Jennifer died, June began to live a normal life, which she still does.

if you just look at the lyrics, it seems like it could also be about Richey...if you ask me.

I heard it was about those twins aswell, they got put in prison because they were misunderstood. There were discos in prison hence "disco dancing with the rapists/your only crime is silence "

it's seem to me like someone telling the story of those twins to make a point about themselves. The second verse is their confusion and they want nature to 'wash over them;' to cleanse?

Did anyone see the video, when the quotes come up on the screen? I love 'virgins on the dole'. Is that about the 'Silent Twins'?

This feels in parts a bit like a comparason between the silent Twins and the 'Glamour Twins' - Nicky and Richey

Nicky used tsunami as a metaphor for the how one sister felt after the other had died, kinda like a huge relief. The way in which the tsunami came washing over her is how she now feels, if that makes scense?

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
