First off, poeple have to look past Danzig, and stop comparing the "New Misfits" to Danzig's Misfits. They are 2 comepletely different bands. Danzig's Misfits were strictly "Horrorpunk", and the Newer Misfits take that Horrorpunk and build off of it, adding heavy metal and an oldies feel in alot of songs.

This song is really awesome...I love how it starts off kind of lame, but really catchy, then it goes into a full on Punk/Thrash style.

Nobody's mentioned that the part beginning with "Cutting with a knife..." sounds exactly like Welcome Home(Sanitarium) by Metallica. Not similar, exactly like it. Awesome song, though.

simply put, graves cant amount to danzig. ever. no graves song will ever be the "best misfits song" in a true fans mind. yes this much is blasphemy. but i do enjoy hearing such songs that graves. hes not terrible, try not comparing him to danzig. btw he sucked DICK in concert. he stands there like a dead fish with no energy. but i dont mind his recording

anywhoo i fucking love this song, it's one of my favorite songs by the misfits the guitar at the beginning is pure awesomness and i'm in love with the words, i sing the intro/chours or whatever the hell it is, all the time.

one of the very few Newfits songs that I like...this is really rhythmitic (if thats how you spell it) and gives you a little hint of Welcome Home (Sanitarium) at the fast parts (atleast from what i remember from the song)..Newfits are okay but Classic Misfits Lineup was better for me..I still love this song though!! Long Live the Fits...oh and apparently..dhrequiem cant take opinions lmfao...

oh my gosh why make such a big deal out of the newfits and misfits?! stop bitching to eachother over the net because you're not going to acheive anything. whether you like the old line up, the new one or even both, there's no point in getting so worked up about it. just move on, respect the other person's opinion and appreciate the band..

as for the song, in my opinion it has quite a catchy riff and lyrics. i read a very detailed description of BOXING HELENA and besides the extremely poor reviews it received, seemed interesting. lyrics go mighty well with it..

Pretty.In.Punk--How could it be the "Midsummer Night's Dream" Helena? She doesn't get cut to pieces by a lover, does she? If so I don't remember it, and that seems like it'd be a pretty important part of the story. Plus the 'Fits (with whatever prefix you'd like) typically do songs about movies, not so much (or at all) plays.

Kayy, its a good song i spose, yes, old misfits are DIFFERENT to the new lineup, but stuff like that happens, bands break up, bands change line ups, and, if you dont like that, quit complainin coz its not gonna change =]

jerry didn't pay glenn to use the band name "Newfits" he could have done that for free, if you have any respect for the band (old and new) you'd understand that and call the band by it's true name. and hey if you hate the new music they put out well then i'm sorry but that's happened to alot of bands over the years, they lose fans because newer songs are different than the old, shit happens

i'd have to say helena is my favorite misfits song, the way michale sings it is beautiful to me, i've been wanting to see boxing helena but haven't gotten around to it yet, is it good?

obviously the song is about the movie boxing Helena but on a deeper level i guess the song is about lonleyness, its about wanting somone to the pint that your driven to hating them. "dance helana dance" is my favourite line in the song, its so ironic the idea is so full of spite.
