Ok, every song on here has the same argument, Danzig or Graves. I think Danzig was better but Graves is good too. Just different. And i just saw them 4 days ago at The Whiskey with Jerry singing and it was a sick show. The only thing that has changed is the voice. They are still good songs. I'm tired of people hating the new misfits for no reason other than that it isn't Glenn singing. If he is the only reason you listened to them then are you really that big of a misfits fan? Line-ups change, people leave, deal with it. Don't hate the rest of the band for continuing to play. And since Danzig was only with the band for the first 6 years. They had 6 years with him and 26 years without him. The Newfits are more of a band than the original line-up. You don't say Iron Maiden isn't really Iron Maiden because Paul Di'Anno left. And Jerry shouldn't have made Graves try and be Danzig but can you blame him? They had a great thing going and he didn't wanna lose it. So calm down everyone. They are still the Misfits, they still kick ass.

I love how everyone has problems with the "Newfits" but their songs are getting more attention than the actual Misfits songs.

To MissNeurotic...well...you see, this is just a song..liking the way it sounds , liking the band it's absolutely not liking amputation....for god sake amputation is something that it's just very very bad...and if it is perpetrated by someone it is an absolutely gruesome act of course. But this is just a song a Misfits song about a movie that wasn't even a horror movie...and Misfits just sing bout horror movies, old movies and freakish situation..it just music..nothing else! You missed the point.

about what patrickatemypants, halloween valentine, and gankstanip were saying yes, My Chemical Romance and The Misfits do have alot of songs with the same title but, patrickatemypants, that does not mean thatthey are copying the Misfits ir are the new Misfits. To halloween valentine & gankstanip if you actually listen to My Chemical Romance you will see that they do have an original sound and there are plenty of bands that have done remakes of another bands songs but nobody reports them as not being original.

To me the old Misfits i guess stood out more because now there are millions of bands who have done remakes of old punk songs so everywhere you look theres someone with lyrics that kinda sound like theres but before there were less punk bands so you could tell that they were different from everyone else.

I like Danzig better than Graves, but graves is okay too. danzig was the heart and soul of the original misfits, so when he left of course it couldn't be as good. i definitely prefer their pre-graves stuff but i'm not one of those people who just bashes him.

well people need to learn that bitching about the singer isnt gunna change anything.one yea danzig is an awesome vocalist but graves is good too. its like metallica yea so what they dont play a thousand miles per hour anymore its still good music. anyway i dont think theres really a meaning to the song its like any other misfits song its about an old horror movie and its fucking awesome

Well, I've never heard this, but yuuu... why would you people like this? Amputating body parts is one of the things that freak me out the most. Nothing should ever be amputated. people should rather die than lose any limbs. gross gross gross. I vomit if I even hear the word "amputation"

My favorite Misfits song all the way........It follows the concept of the "Boxing Helena" movie! A guy loves a woman so much that so she doesn't have a chance to leave him he cuts her limbs......that way she depends absolutely on him....and she can't leave him! LoL

Alright buddy, Graves didn't 'shamelessly jack' anyone. Metallica were HUGE Misfit fans, it was a tribute not a plaigarism. Now, as for the Newfit/Misfit argument: It's all The Misfits. No one HAS to accept anyone. But, true Fiends stick with them through good AND bad until the end. If you like Danzig better, he has a whole legacy of solo stuff and stuff with Samhain you should check out instead of pissing off everyone over their opinions.

god all you fucks complaining about the "newfits" (stupid fucking name) piss me off! I saw the misfits last October and jerry only was singing and playing bass, the guitarist from black flag was on guitar, and Marky Ramone was drummer and they still kicked ass! That isn't anywhere close to the original band but it was still the same old fucking songs and it was still awesome to see such a fucking legendary thing as the misfits even if it was only jerry only! so shut the fuck up!

obviously the song is about the movie boxing Helena but on a deeper level i guess the song is about lonleyness, its about wanting somone to the pint that your driven to hating them. "dance helana dance" is my favourite line in the song, its so ironic the idea is so full of spite.
