this song is so beautiful. to just listen to. i don't know. i'm noticing a recurring city locale theme with something corporate, but i didn't even mind. i heard this + loved it. aww. it's great.

I've definatly overanalyzed this song, i mean how can you not, if the lyrics are stupid, the song has no point, but anyways, there are 2 different girls you and she and he has to let her down easy, while he stays with you, or at least that is what i think it means.

I think that the songs just for one girl. he needs to let go of her, but he knows it'll be hard. it's a long distance relationship, and that's why they're breaking up. he's talking about what could've been if they didn't have to break up. at least, that's what i think.

i love this song and every other song by something corporate, they're sound and lyrics are so beautiful and amazing! they are all rad ppl too!!! i also love the part that says "she has answers to all the wrong questions, its funny these answers are all i need" simply because i am always saying random things that ppl dont understand, and it reminds me of that and how ppl always make fun of me! anyways, thats my opinion!

this is the sweetest song...i can hear all the emotion in andrew's voice. i too think it's about 2 girls. but maybe i'm wrong. soco has a unique way of writing music and i love it. this song is great, but it's no konstantine....

yeah, this song is definately awesome. i can't really relate to the whole general idea of the song, but a few parts really remind me of what i've been going through, like "Here with my problems, I don't need the light, they're bigger than darkness and darker than night." and "I never knew there'd be distance between us, what I've done cannot be repeated...and I've got scars I'm willing to show you, you had heart that I'll never see." This song is amazing. I agree that it's about two girls, but that he's only "with" one. Here's a theory about the phrase "Caldecott Tunnel:" he uses alot of transportation terms in the song, so maybe Caldecott Tunnel isnt really a tunnel in real life, maybe it just represents one of the girls? Just what I thought when I heard the song. I love SoCo and I'm glad to find so many people here who love them too! :)

I might be wrong, but when I listend to this song like the second time it made me think of a guy who's cheated on his girlfriend, but decides he's gonna break up with her for the girl he's cheating on her with (let her down easy so she doesn't know). Then he finds himself drowning in all his regrets of letting the girl he was with go and never trying to work things out, after they grew so much apart during the whole process...or maybe again if you think about it, it could be that he's with someone new, but keeps comparing the things he did for this other girl with things he does for this new person, and he's regretting things he never tried and regretting not trying to make it work and pull them closer together after they grew apart.But now that she's gone he's trying to pretend he's happy but deep down inside it's eating him alive because he never tried to fix problems...ahh I dont know it's a great song though
