In the name of GWAR, in the name of love
In the name of the blood dripping out of the sun
I call out your God, till before me he stands
But don't send me Jesus, he's only a man

Meat Sandwich!!!
I have come as a feral thing, clutching at your bloated underbelly
Let the agony, of the is to be
Be the shrieks, the warnings of the death screams

Pummeling the wretched, crushing the defiler
Pummeling the wretched-aye!
Slay them all let them come, let them come, let them come
They've come for

Meat Sandwich (crucify)
I have come as a feral thing, snapping at your bloated underbelly
To crucify, shrieks of the crucified
Let the agony, of the is to be

Be the shrieks, the warning of the death screams
Pummeling the wretched (you know who)
Crushing the defiler (you know who you are)
Pummeling the wretched-aye! (you know who)

Slay them all let them come, let them come, let them come
They come for
Meat Sandwich!

General Comment:If you are putting Gwar in any genre at all... Congratulations!!!! You just missed the point! If you have listened to and are familiar with their entire body of works, then Im wasting my time, you already knew that. Im very happy that you are all interested in, or even consider yourself fans of, Gwar. I encourage you all to listen to more than 1 album. In fact, I think that anyone throwing the word 'punk' around should also keep in mind that "Hell-O" is in fact garage music. They were just starting out and had no equipment. This does not mean they are punk or influenced by punk music. Gwar can and will play any style, type, or genre of music at any given moment. Label Gwar? You should know better to even be on this page... You humans make me sick!

General Comment:Gaar actually does derrive a lot for thrash punk, if you watch American Hardcore Dave is in it, and in interviews they say they drive a lot from that, I just want to know what this song is about though

General Comment:GWAR is a band from outer space, and I am pretty sure the song is about GWAR challenging god to a fight just like INeedAHug said. Now shut up, if you can't say something good about GWAR your body will be piled up ontop of the clouds and shot at by the demons below. FUCK EMO'S

General Comment:GWAR is a thrash metal, hardcore punk and shock rock band, according to the Wikipedia. Read their article, it chronicles their genre-bending.

General Comment:immakinqupaname shut up. IneedAhug is right, nobody before him was contributing to the meaning of the song. Also the band's theme is that they are demigods... not the only god ... and in this song they are challenging the ''christian god'' while they slay his followers and make sandwichs out of them. also their album Hell-o is very Punk. However It seems with each album they change their genre.

General Comment:Okay, youre prettymuch all wrong. INeedAHug, youre emo...so shut your mouth. ripdc, if theyre god then are they calling themselves out in this song? and to those who said theyre ANYTHING similar to punk...no. Listen to the song "So What". It is most famous for being covered by Metallica in Garage Inc. It was originally by a real punk band, one that not many people have heard about because most punk bands are underground. If I remember correctly theyre called The Anti-Nowhere Group or something.
Now as for the song, its about NOTHING! It's Gwar god damnit! IT DOESN'T HAVE TO MAKE ANY SENSE!
