Lyrics for Whole Lotta Rosie as interpreted by Demau Senae

Whole Lotta Rosie Lyrics
Wanna tell you a story
'Bout a woman I know
When it comes to lovin'
Oh she steals the show
She ain't exactly pretty
Ain't exactly small
Forty-two, thirty-nine, fifty-six
You could say she's got it all

Never had a woman
Never had a woman like you
Doing all the things
Doing all the things you do
Ain't no fairy story
Ain't no skin and bone
But you give it all you got
Weighing in at nineteen stone

CHORUS:
You're a whole lotta woman
A whole lotta woman
Whole lotta Rosie
And you're a whole lotta woman

Oh honey you can do it
Do it to me all night long
Only one to turn
Only one to turn me on
All through the night time
And right around the clock
To my surprise
Rosie never stops

CHORUS:
You're a whole lotta woman
A whole lotta woman
Whole lotta Rosie
And you're a whole lotta woman

The song was based on a true story...

After a gig in tazmania, Bon Scott was abducted by Rosie (her real name) and dragged back to her place, where she skrewed his brains out all night.
The next day, he returned to the lads, telling them about the most amazing sex he had ever had in his LIFE. And this is Bon "Two Different Girl Every Night" Scott we're talking about here!
The next year, when AC/DC were back on tour in Tazmania, Bon went looking for Rosie again. When he found her, she had lost a lot of weight, and he said it just wasn't the same.

19 stone could be an exaggeration, i doubt he stopped to weigh her. ^_^ .. 42-39-56 are some hefty dimensions!

One of the sweetest riffs ever!! A little bluesy, like a lot of AC/DC's older stuff, and it's rock at it's finest! Simply awesome.

They've been doing this a lot in concerts ever since it was released. Truly a crowd pleaser, and for good reason.

It doesn't have any connection to "Fat Bottomed Girls" although that is also a great song.

Ah, one of my favourite AC/DC songs, excellent Bon Scott stuff. A great live song too, what with the excellent riff, solo and the now routine chant of "ANGUS! ANGUS!" at the start of the song when played live! Pretty simple stuff though, Bon getting laid by Rosie is spot on, though AC/DC lyrics are never meant to be taking seriously (like the band themselves) so I wouldn't go counting on taking the measurements as exact figures...

Erm no this isnt about enjoying banging fat chicks or getting abducted. Angus explains what the song was about in the "Live at Donington" dvd, turn on audio commentary.

Basically they were poor when they started and Bon told the gang that these girls had dinner, but they were looking for a date. Unfortunatly, one was ugly and another was fat. They all got away except Bon, who was pulled aside by Rosie (the fat chick) and he "paid" for the dinner.

the best recording of this song is on the live album if you want blood. which in my opinion is the best live album ever made. the album track on let there be rock is a bit flat, as is the whole album but i think its down to the recording as the songs on the album all sound better live
