Blood and tears
Blood and tears
Since you've been gone
I hear you've been crying
Blood and tears

All alone
In your misery
So alone
Could you have
Been deceived
Since I've been gone
I hear you been crying

You cry a thousand tears
Darling don't despair
I know your heart still bleeds
Darling don't you care
There's blood in your tears

All alone
In your misery
So
All alone
You are lost
Endlessly
Since you've been gone
I hear you been crying

To me this is a love song between a human and a demon. "crying blood and tears" is what a demon does. Danzig has also explored this topic in other songs: Lilin, Her Black Wings, She Rides, and probably some others that I'm frogetting. It's cool that the song sounds a bit like one of those old school love songs, yet has such a dark premise.

either the loss of someone close, or a break up of some kind wit someone....seems more like danzig love song than anything......maybe when she was gone she cried so bad, and also cut her(razor blades) tears running down her cheeks and blood dripping down her body hence blood and tears

I like this song, its still dark but he manages to keep it sad, which is the reason i like danzig a great artist, and should be credited for his work more than he is, DAMN MICHAEL GRAVES, and after danzig left the misfits i knew it was just time, and not being older than 4 or somethign when that happend if not i knew it was the end, DANZIGS good and this song to me is about when you die someone dont matter whos crying and greaving over your death and shit

This song will always remind me of my ex-boyfriend. He used to listen to Danzig in his car really loud and i learned to love this band this way, we both sang to this song that we liked most. After he broke up with me I had to listen to it by myself and cry blood and tears meanwhile.

Blood and Tears has been my favorite Danzig song since I first began listening to them which was years and years ago. I like this song because it's one of the only Danzig songs that seems filled with purely human emotion. I do not think this song is about a breakup. It has always seemed to me that the message it is sending is that the lyricist has died or moved on and he is singing this to his love who remains alive and in tremendous pain over his death. I don't think it has much to do with her cutting herself or simply being depressed or anything like that.

There's an element of sadness that almost seems to transcend life in "Blood and Tears". He is sort of looking down on this woman whom in life he was madly in love with and he's witnessing the great deal of pain his death has brought upon her, hence the "blood" and "tears"...she is crying because his blood was spilt. The way Glenn switches between "Since I've been gone" and "since you've been gone" leads me to believe that he's in a place where life and time have moved on, he has lost her and she has lost him so they are both in a limbo because of how strong their love was and how great their pain is.

This song is sad because by the end, both of them seem to hauntingly realize that neither of them, alive or dead, will ever truly be able to move on from one another.

Good post Eirenightshade, that's what the song says to me too. I'm just gonna mention something else. The chours reminds me of the

"I cried a tear, For nobody but you I'll be a lonely one, If you should say we're through"

part in A Teenager In Love by Dion And The Belmonts. If you listen to it, you will know what I mean :)

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
