    General Comment:I always get shivers and my hair stands on end when I listen to this. I loved Moulin Rouge and still do, and this song is perfect for the scene in the movie. I liked the Police version, but this has such a different mood. The string section and at the crescendo where it drops (to put it in dubstep terms, that's the only way i can really describe it) is absolutely amazing. The version I have from the soondtrack differs slightly from the movie but both versions are brilliant. I would love to learn the dance routine, it would be so cool. It's so intense and painful, really conveys the desperation in McGregor's character and the ill-fated love between his and Kidman's character.

    I love the "Why does my heart cry" bit and FireVix3n, it does sound so familiar but I haven't found anything. Would love to know.

    Moulin Rouge is my favourite Lurhmann work. :)

    General Comment:Every time I hear this song it takes my breath away. The two different styles of music fit together so perfectly and the voices add such enthusiasm and feeling into it. MUCH kudos to the one -or ones- who cast the film. They chose the perfect people to fit the parts.

    General Comment:the Moulin Rouge is an amazing piece of work. i thought the actors, settings, and the performances were excellant.
    i exspecially love this song orginally by the Police.

    I think Ewan and Nicole did very well in this movie and their voices fit perfectly.

    this song is obviously about Christian's jealously of the Duke sleeping with Satine. though he knows that she is just doing what she knows how. but still he can't help being angered. this scene in the movie was one of the best. great movie.

    there was rumors of Ewan Mcgregor coming out with his own album, i don't know if that holds true or not though.
