We've all been born
To live our lives in security
How do we know if we'll die
Or if we will recover
From day to day
We live our lives the same way
No money to hold in our hands
And no to spend it.
So I chose the easy way out
To do my body some harm
Cut my throat and slashed my wrist
I even tried electricity
Cut my throat
Slashed my wrist
It was the easy way out.
To live our lives in security
How do we know if we'll die
Or if we will recover
From day to day
We live our lives the same way
No money to hold in our hands
And no to spend it.
So I chose the easy way out
To do my body some harm
Cut my throat and slashed my wrist
I even tried electricity
Cut my throat
Slashed my wrist
It was the easy way out.

We've all been born to live our lives in security. How do we know if we'll die or if we will recover. From day to day we live our life the same way. No money to hold in our hands and not time to spend it. So I chose the easy way out to do my body some harm. Cut my throat and slash my wrists. I even tried electricity. I cut my throat. I slashed my wrists. It was the easy way out. We've all been born to live our lives in security. How do we know if we'll die or if we'll recover. So I chose the easy way out. To do my body some harm. Cut my throat and slash my wrists I even tried electricity. I cut my throat. I slashed my wrists. It was the easy way out. So I chose the easy way out. To do my body some harm. Cut my throat and slash my wrists. I even tried electricity. The shock was deadly. The shock was deadly. It was the easy way out.
It's probably about someone (probably a teenage) that is experiencing independance for the first time and can't really take all of the pressure of being independant. Not having the sense of security they did when they depended on someone else (probably their parents) which caused fear and they "chose the easy way out" and commited suicide.
It's about someone who maybe experienced independance for the first time and is scared.Maybe someone in a different environment then they are used to.
Someone who is broke, and has no one to depend on to survive and chooses the easy way out.
Very upbeat sounding for a sad song.
The first line doesn't sound right, but I'm not sure.
